Besides 2102 is the only operating Reading Company Steam Locomotive in operation and 2100 will soon be done meaning we will have 2 T-1s in operation. I hope video covering the NC&StL 576 when it returns to steam. FYI I'm apart of Nashville Steam the group that's restoring the 4-8-4 Dixie Type.

awesome video train chamber, i was riding in 2nd car behind the engine that day. words just cannot describe the noise that engine makes. just pumps up the adrenaline. anyway, i just wanted to say fantastic video and was curious if you might make a combination cab ride and excursion ride video of 2102 some day. you do a fantastic job with those cab ride/excursion ride videos.

Im glad you liked it! I cant make your decisions but this is 425's last year before her 1472, so i'd try and squeeze in seeing 425 too. Regardless, 2102 is extremely impressive.

2102 is louder than 425. The loudness of 425 right next to you is about the loudness of 2102 50-100 feet away or so

Loved the video 2102 looks gorgeous as well Plus she is definitely louder than 425, the Iron horse rambles seems like it’s off to a great start Also can’t want for 425 to return and pull trains with 2102 and 2100 is getting closer to being completed Again it’s obvious 2102 is louder than 425 and probably louder than 1522

What camera do you film with? I love my M50 but I think I need that smooth zoom back.

Canon EOS 90D, however, the zoom is done in post. If you want to zoom while recording you can get an adapter and powerzoom for the M50. Im not sure the specifics though.
