I think that the publishers promoted Honey Girl terribly. It was marketed as a romance when it isn’t. So people have gone in with one expectation, not gotten what they were sold and were disappointed. Which makes me sad. Love these readathons and watching y’all’s vlogs back to back

I wasn't a fan of Honey Girl either... It was a tough read for me. I did love topic of the quarter life crisis... its something a lot of people go through, and I loved the blatant struggle she had with it.... but other than that, it was just too over the top for me. Not a fan of the writing and dialogue.... and their relationship did NOTHING for me. By the end, I was hoping they didn't end up together because it just didn't seem like they were good for each other. I gave it a 3 star rating, but lowered it to 2.
