My introduction to dragon based fantasy was The Dragon Keeper series by Carol Wilkinson. I remember crying so many times through that series. I may have to reread them now with my knowledge and experience. Right after that awakening came the inheritance cycle.😹

That's valid! I personally really enjoy knowing the nitty gritty of storywriting because it makes me a better reader on top of being a better writer - but to each their own ;)
