Alhamdulillah u are Muslim. I hope u steadfast. Tip to all Muslim Every Muslim must learn to do this and make it a norm that u constantly did it daily. It will change your life forever. Promise. U will regret it if u don't . It's precisely like food to ur soul. - Salawat to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is The Only Good deeds that Allah SWT accepted without condition whatsoever. Meaning everytime u say salawat to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him Allah SWT will accept it as a good deed and u will be rewarded for it out of respect to the prophet Peace be upon him. Allah SWT promise that if u salawat to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him once Allah SWT will salawat to you 10 time. If we salawat to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is considered a Dua we made to the prophet Peace be upon him. But when Allah SWT salawat upon us it is a directive. That means if u salawat to the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him 1000 time a day Allah SWT will guarantee blessing upon u 10000 time a day. U will burst with light. It might be hard at first. But will become super easy as u did it daily. And u will never regret it

9:49 That's a good question God is the One who's Speaking in the Quran and He Says to his Prophet (peace be upon him): "[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful". "And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment". This is not a contradictory! God is the Forgiving, the Merciful for those who deserve it, but he can also punish like no other for those who deserve it. His punishment is part of His justice, for "God is Just" and will only give one what he or she deserves. Amongst the Great Names and Attributes of Allah/God (swt) is Al-Hakam, which means, “The Judge”. Allah (swt) is the Most Just, and He judges the affairs of His beings with full justice. There are several ayaat in the Quran which describe the justice of Allah (swt). Among them are the following: “Surely Allah does not do any injustice to men, but men are unjust to themselves.” (Surah Yunus: 44) “Surely Allah does not do injustice to the weight of an atom, and if it is a good deed He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.” (Surah Nisa: 40) Let me give you an example, suppose the biggest dictators on earth with blood on their hands like Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Benito Mussolini and Pol Pot want to go to paradise regardless of the many millions of people they've killed in this life, do you think that's fair? And what about their victums, would that be fair to the victims? They should be held accountable for the genocide for which they were responsible in this life and receive their punishment and God determines what kind of punishment they will receive and for how long, cause they deserve 't for the crimes they commited. Of course I cannot speak for God, but that is my opinion and God knows Better. I hope you understand.

Just to clarify for you, there is no such thing as mercy for those who deserve it. That is an oxymoron. Mercy can only ever given to people who genuinely deserve to be punished.
@shazwanshah4 жыл бұрын
Allah/God grants His mercy for those who repents & asked for forgiveness. But for those who committed sins and refuse to repents should be punished for their wrongdoings. "And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver." Surah Nuh:10 "God accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will God turn in mercy: For God is full of knowledge and wisdom. Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous." Surah An-Nisa: 17-18

Whip Lash one of the hardest thing in my life was to accept the truth. Deployed 3 times to the Middle East each time my heart carried a heavy burden. Marines don’t cry and loyalty is engrained in our minds. I wasn’t never a big believer in Judaism or any religion because of the division it creates. I can’t be a Jew because of my blood. I can’t be a Christian because I don’t worship Christ which means I’m going to hell. I could never grasp their concepts ( doctrines ). My heart was searching for love but we all know a person doesn’t find love love finds you. In my 3rd and final deployment an Iraqi ( prisoner ) was reading His Quran. I couldn’t help myself but get drawn into towards the sound of confront. I understood some of the words but not it’s entirety so I asked a translator to help me understand what he was saying. Those words that he recited made this grown man a US Marine fall to his knees and beg God ( love ) for His mercy. Love ( Islam / Quran ) found me. There is not another doctrine ( a way of life ) that preaches unity. It hit my heart because it was almost identical to my heritages way of life. I’ll share the two. 1st ( Quran ) All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. 2nd ( my heritage) 1. Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect. 2. Remain close to the Great Spirit, in all that you do. 3. Show great respect for your fellow beings. (Especially Respect yourself) 4. Work together for the benefit of all Mankind. 5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed. In the Quran God clearly tells the reader He created every way of life and one day we will all meet to answer for what we did according to each messengers message. I pray we all get judged accordingly regardless of race religion or genders. 6. Do what you know to be right. (But be careful not to fall into self-righteousness) 7. Look after the well being of mind and body. 8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good. 9. Be truthful and honest at all times. (Especially be truthful and honest with your self) 10. Take full responsibility for your actions

those who didn't receive the message of Islam clearly in this life will be tested in the hereafter : "A person who has never heard of Islam or the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and who has never heard the message in its correct and true form, will not be punished by Allah if he dies in a state of kufr (disbelief). If it were asked what his fate will be, the answer will be that Allah will test him on the Day of Resurrection: if he obeys, he will enter Paradise and if he disobeys he will enter Hell. The evidence (daleel) for this is the hadeeth of al-Aswad ibn Saree, who reported that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are four (who will protest) to Allah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of Eesaa (Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)). The deaf man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I never heard anything. The insane man will say, O Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at me. The very old man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand anything. The man who died during the fatrah will say, O Lord, no Messenger from You came to me. He will accept their promises of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them. According to another report, he said: Whoever enters it, it will be cool and safe for him, and whoever does not enter it will be dragged to it. (The hadeeth was reported by Imaam Ahmad and Ibn Hibbaan, and deemed saheeh by al-Albaani, Saheeh al-Jaami, 881)." islamqa.info/en/answers/1244/the-fate-of-kuffaar-who-did-not-hear-the-message-of-islam

If they enter it, they will be taken out and eventually admitted into Paradise. Source: Sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 94 Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: People among those who worshiped Allah alone (ahl al-tawḥīd) will be punished in the Hellfire until they are coals. Then the mercy of Allah will reach them and they will be taken out and presented at the gates of Paradise. The people of Paradise will pour water over them and they will grow just as the stubble carried by the stream grows, then they will enter Paradise. The Hellfire is your residence, wherein you will remain except as Allah wills. Verily, your Lord is wise and knowing. Surat al-An’am 6:128 And Allah said: فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ شَقُوا فَفِي النَّارِ لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَشَهِيقٌ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ رَبُّكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ As for those who were wretched, they will be in the Hellfire. For them therein is violent exhaling and inhaling, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Surat Hud 11:106-107 And Allah said: إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا لِّلطَّاغِينَ مَآبًا لَّابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا Verily, Hell has been lying in wait for the transgressors, a place of return, in which they will remain for ages. Surat al-Naba 78:21-23 According to some interpretation people will be finally taken out of Hellfire after their punishment because Allah is merciful. There will come a time when the doors of Hell are blown open and there will be no one left in it. That is after they remain therein for ages. Source: Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī 11:107 So according to Islamic interpretation and understanding everyone eventually will be taken out of Hellfire after their punishment and even some Muslims and Jews and Unitarian Christians will be punished the Trinity Christians only Allah knows their judgment and punishment because some don't know the truth and the scriptures have been changed and their punishment depends on what knowledge came to them in truth. Allah decides who he's punishing but remember Allah is most merciful and loving but your worshiping Jesus and this leads to punishment. @Stian Slatlem When did he do that? I'm missing some key points! Please explain to me why Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11)? Please explain to me why did Abraham's had 2 wives (book of genesis)? Please explain to me why was Mary 14 when she gave birth to Jesus (As)? Please explain to me why did King David have 7 wives and when he went to Jerusalem he took more wives and concubines? I would like to say that all of these will be categorised as pedophiles (according to your brain) but NO, I would never say anything bad about prophets in the Bible because maybe what they have done has been cut out from the Bible (so that it might stay constant with political or modern ideas) but their names are True and can be found in the Qur'an! Peace be upon all the prophets of God who had been mocked throughout the History and peace be upon Jesus (A chosen servant choosed by God) and peace be upon Muhammad (A Messenger and Servant of God as Jesus, Isa 'As')! Just to clarify learn about the biggest miracles of Islam that still today the Historians can't explain: (E.g when 17 people were following him while being tortured and killed he said "That soon the Muslim will conquer Constantinople (Current day Instanbul), Persia, and Rome (East Europe and Central Asia)! Another point that the Historians can't explain is how 313 people (without iron armours and swords with 2 horses and 40 camels) have won against 1000 soldiers (with Iron Armours and Swords +with 70 Horses and 200 camels), called the "War of Badr". Another points is the scientific evidence of the Qur'an+ miracles+ prophecies (all of them came to pass or have yet to, none of them is not passed)! According to the Bible a way to tell if is a true prophet is through prophecies (Romans 12:6-7)! The coming of the last prophet Muhammad (Saw) in Isaiah 42! Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis 21). Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation, and Isaac became the grandfather of the Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad (Saw), a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet. Also, Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the servant of God, His “chosen one” and “messenger” who will bring down a law. “He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.” (Isaiah 42:4). Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Kedar. Who is Kedar? According to Genesis 25:13, Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of the Prophet Muhammad (Saw). Thanks and hope you read it all, even though this is not for you but it's for someone with more knowledge than you! Have a nice day! 😉

This is a verse from the Quran : "O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind." Quran {22:5} 👇👇👇👇👇 Who told prophet Muhammed about the embryonic development who was an illiterate and lived in deseret before 1400 years back? The only logic answer is that this information is from Allah. Allah (God) said in Quran : (We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?) Quran 41:53

@Starfish #moonlight Scientists have discovered that there are burning reactions that happens in the sun which produces light and heat where the temperature of the surface of the sun reaches around six thousand degrees Celsius. Therefore the sun is the source of illumination and the moon is the source of light, the sun produces light that's why we couldn't look directly at it because of the strong light coming out, therefore it is a shining and luminous body and that's why the Quran called it: (shining). As for the moon, it is like a mirror that reflects the sun rays that fall on it then a part of it returns back to the earth and we see it lighted. It means that the moon reflects the light of the sun so we see it a lighted moon. We can look at the moon and enjoy its light; therefore it is a lighted body and the Quran called it: (light). The Quran told us about this fact, as God be he exalted says: (It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light) [Surat Yunus, verse: 5].
@sayedsalah11434 жыл бұрын
@Starfish 1.Quran Is free from any errors or contradictions, despite it being revealed over a period of 23 years. It Is preserved, word-for-word, since it was revealed in its original Arabic language, unlike other scriptures which have been distorted, changed or lost. When God revealed the Quran, He promised to preserve it. The words we read today are the same as those memorised and written down by the companions of Prophet Muhammad. “It is We Who have sent down the remembrance (i.e. the Quran) and surely, We will guard it from corruption.” (Quran 15:9) Thus it is the most important book and Muslims have no doubt that it is exactly the same today as it was when it was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad, may God praise him. It is not only preserved in its written form , but it is also memorized by millions of muslims all around the world . The Quran is 600 pages and you can see non speaking arab muslims and they memorize all of Quran by hard . And children start memorizing it by the age of 2 . Allah said in Quran : 54:17 And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? 2.Another miracle is that its a challenge Allah challenged the Arabs and all mankind to produce a literary work of a similar caliber as the Quran, but they were unable to do so in spite of their well-known eloquence and literary powers. The challenge is still open and no one will ever win it . Quran 17:88 Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants."

Hey Savannah, good to see you continuing with the Quran! Disclaimer: I am not a scholar, I am learning just like you 😅 If I may make a few points, the Bible has sons of God by the tons! Adam is called THE son of God in Luke 3:23-38, so as others like Abraham and David. The children of Israel are called the firstborn sons of God in Exodus 4:22-23. "I have chosen David as my first-born son, and he will be the ruler of all kings on ... Then tell Pharaoh that this is what the LORD says: 'Israel is My firstborn son,..." Psalm 89:27. In the language of those times, the term "son of God" meant a righteous person, not a literal son of God. Please do your own research on this, don't take my word for it. I suggest to look for the Bible scholar Bart Ehrman. About god being all loving but still put the disbelievers in hell: Yes, God is all loving but also Just! Do you think people like hitler who killed millions of people should not go to hell! For example: How to judge someone like hitler who killed millions compare to someone who killed 1 person? if you were the judge and they arrested hitler and brought him to court for trial, the most punishable sentence you can give him is to give him a death sentence "1 time". But he killed millions, where is the justice then? I say, God will put him in hell and once he dies from the hell fire, he is brought back to life in hell and burn again and again until the justice is done for all the people he killed and caused harm. God is the best of judges. And we will be judged based on our actions we choose to do. God says in the Quran, "I swear by the Day of Resurrection, And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips." [Quran 75.1-4] (P.S. It's a royal "We", to match his majesty) In any court, if a criminal knowingly breaks the law, we expect the judge to punish him/her. We don't say the judge is unjust for punishing the criminals! God created heaven and hell and gave us free-will and faculties to reason and showed us the right and wrong. God also has told us through his prophets and their revelations the guidance to how to live in this world to go to heaven in the after life. We have free-will to choose the right ways over wrong ways (sins). Now if someone chooses to ignore all these and defy God, he/she will go to hell for eternity. But also heaven is eternal too. If one submits to the will of the God and do what God has revealed, he/she will go to heaven for eternity. Please check my references and correct me if I'm wrong 😁

God says I love humans 70 times more than a mother to his child, on the other hand how God will send humans to hell of he is all loving..well God says in Quran before death no matter how big your sins are just ask for forgiveness I will forgive except associating a partner with God which called shirk, he is all loving how many evil people exist on earth they rape they kill and do evil things did he not give them food give them time to repent...he is All merciful
@Yusuf_K74 жыл бұрын
my convert story I hate commenting on religious based videos, and you can guess why, but just to correct you on the Shirk issue; When Allah says he does not forgive Shirk, He refers to a muslim who commits it , not those who committed it before embracing Islam. Otherwise, even the Sahabah would be in Hell, since they were idolators before Islam. 👍 As for everything else, wonderful response

The number 70 is often used in Islamic interpretation for hyperbole, and is not meant to be taken literally. As a literary device, the purpose is to indicate many, countless, infinite, immeasurable etc.

1- I think i can give some explanation about the part when Zakariah wasn't able to communicate with people for 3 days except by gestures: When Zakariah was told about such a miracle (having a baby from such an old man and a barren woman ), he was shocked and felt some kind of disturbance in his thoughts, he felt confused and uncertain. so he returned and asked Allah to give him a sign i.e --proof ( so that he feels reassured and comfort ), Allah told him (through the angel messenger) that he won't be able to talk to people 3 days even though he has absolutely NO sign of any kind of illness or pain (No damage in tongue, mouth, vocal cords, ..etc) and that's a miracle in itself. that was a proof that the promise of that child will so easily be fulfilled by Allah exactly as easy as that miracle of him not able to talk without illness. 2- You asked about why disbelievers go to hell and such: well, there are some points here that are related to our beliefs and understanding about God as Muslims which if you believe in, you will find the idea of punishment acceptable. There are many interpretations and reasoning that have been said by Muslim scholars about this issue, the one that seems most convincing to me is the following: Do you believe in God's existence? Do you believe that Allah is the only god? Do you believe that he is the creator of all things? that he is the most powerful? that he is the one who gave you all the countless blessings that you live in (body, food, shelter, ...etc)? If you answered Yes to all these questions you might be able to grasp the relationship between you and him, that relationship we call Bondage ('Ubudiyah) that is giving Him His due, keeping His limits, being thankful for His gift, being content with His decree, being patient with His trials, glorifying His sanctity, and yearning for Him. If you really understand that conduct between you and him, then a question like (Why do you send those guys to hell?) will sound disrespectful, because after all it's HIS creation, he does what he wants with is, it's absolutely not our concern and we surely have no such authority to ask him "why do you send your creation to hell?", it's very disrespectful. HOWEVER, Allah told us about himself that he is the most just and that he is the most merciful. and from his mercy, he sent messengers to warn us and to teach us what's our purpose, how to worship him, how to go to his heavens and how to avoid hell. so the choice is ours, we either worship him by doing what he orders and avoid what he forbids OR we spent our short life asking alot of pointless WHYs . Here is a simple analogy: We are ALREADY in the exam and we are given a paper, but we just forgot about answering and out of no where started saying why are we being questioned?! and suddenly the exam paper is taken without any warnings and then we get an F XD Note: the ones who haven't received the message won't be sent to hell directly, Allah will test those a special test for them on the judgement day upon which they will go to heaven or hell. 3- the problem of evil: Throughout the Qur'an Allah tells us that this life is a test, it's not perfect, and that we will sometimes suffer in it and by the way there is no evil we see in life unless he permits it's existence and similarly nothing good in life unless it's from him. So it's a test for us to see how would we deal with those problems of life? some people get out of these tests rewarded after life, and others get punished. life is too short compared too afterlife, its good is nothing to the good we will see in heavens. so Allah never promised satisfaction and welfare in life, Allah promised those in heavens only. Life is a TEST. please read the following verses from Surah Al-Baqara (The Cow): Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, - 2:155 Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return", - 2:156 They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. - 2:157

If you’re a Muslim, you’ll go to heaven(sorry i just realised this typo i type hell instead of heaven) if you done more sins that good things. But then ,after they get they punishment,although it takes what feels like million of years,they’ll still go to heaven. And this one I’m not very sure about the truth behind this ,but this is what I’ve been told. If you have a child that maybe died before he/she reaches puberty or maybe you had a miscarriage, that child will grab you to heaven although you’re supposed to go to hell. If I’m wrong ,I’m sorry. But know this, maybe lots of ppl might think Islam is strict or hard, but actually no. There’s a reason for what everything that is taught in Islam . Like it is forbidden to eat pork. There’s a reason for that. And how you can eat pig if you don’t have any other halal food . Or if the medicine you have to take contain alcohol or pig , it’s allowed in Islam. And about wearing scarf. No one,no one should ever force someone to wear it cuz it’s their business with god, and no one should not judge them or say bad things about them. Cuz if you’re a Muslim ,you believe that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the messenger of Allah. Then you should try to be like prophet Muhammad. He will never say bad things and he always be kind to one and another. So if you’re Muslim,you should never say bad things about others although they(a Muslim person) do things that is forbidden in Islam . You don’t have to be mean ,there’s always better ways to advice them, and after all ,it’s their business with god. I’m sorry for this long sentence,Sorry again if I’m wrong about anything .tq for reading till this word😊

Mariyam muslims do go to heaven even after being in hell and that is because the prophet Mohamed blessed them and prayed for god that they still go to heaven after being punished. But, god forgives so its not necessary that u go to hell before heaven...everyone commits sins.but as i said, god is forgiving...if it wasn’t for his forgiveness no one will access al jannah
@anonymous517224 жыл бұрын
Just a correction: In order for a Muslim to enter Paradise, one will have to earn Allahs Mercy. Some may have more bad deeds than good but Allah could still forgive that person and could turn those bad deeds into good deeds. Obviously, being following Allahs commands, following the Prophetic way and doing as much good as possible and asking frequently for forgiveness all dramatically increase your chance for being forgiven and admitted to Paradise. But a Muslim can never be 100 % confident that he will enter Paradise because he never knows whether he will die in a good state or whether he will be forgiven (until he meets Allah). Concerning medication - I’ve checked this and the scholars agree that one has to avoid alcohol based medication and any medication with haram ingredients such as anything from pork. So one should check if there are other alternatives to the medication (for example other brands or similar medication) without any forbidden ingredients. If not and the medication is a necessity, then one will have to make an informed decision.

dan 11 Don’t freak out man. I find that if I am patient in getting the answer to any questions I have about Islam and that if I search for the answer then I always find a satisfactory answer. So, maybe learning more about why there is Hell and why there is Heaven, asking a scholar could help with this.

So every role or law is built on that, it's all about believing in god or not, and you can note that clearly from the first chapter in Quran or even the first sentences.

I whole heartedly agree with your position on “religious tourism”, especially for westerners reading about non western philosophies. I have read the Bible, Tanakh and Torah, Quran and Sahih al-Burkhari, Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads, etc, etc. As well as visited their places of worship and asked questions of their rabbis, priests, and imams (my copy of sahih al-bukhari was gifted to me by an imam after I told him I had already read the Quran twice but still wanted to learn some more). I’ve actually also learned how to recite al-Fatiha in Arabic and a few lines of al-Baqara. And I do all of this as a secular person, I would consider myself religious but I have no desire or intention of ever adopting an organized religious practice. I know that by the tenets of several religions I have studied that because I have read and understood the words of their holy books and prophets but still reject the religion for myself, that in their view I am like a heretic or “kufr” and will go to their version of hell. But I don’t believe in that kind of afterlife at all so it doesn’t bother me, and I actually appreciate when Christians and Muslims say they will pray or make dua for me. I do see the beauty of Islam and the many aspects that derive from Arab culture which I also love, and I have had the pleasure of being in Palestine and the absolute privilege of visiting the beautiful al-Aqsa. I totally understand why people convert to this religion, as well as other religions, but I genuinely do not believe in Islam’s, Christianity’s and Judaism’s spiritual tenets regarding the afterlife and the end of days, so I cannot as it would be disingenuous. I believe one should convert and practice their religion for the love of serving their god in this life, not because they fear what may become of them in the after. I also believe as humans we should develop to become better toward each other and doing good deeds without the benefit of reward in a hereafter or pressure from punishment and suffering. To do good because you believe yourself and others to be deserving of goodness, regardless of religion. I greatly respect the pious for their love and dedication to their god even if it is not my belief, I think that relationship is a beautiful thing.

In islam, we do not beleive only muslims go to heaven. We believe that even non muslims, people of scripture and non beleivers who are unaware or those who are ignorant and living in remote areas and such and even in some cases athiests will be able to go to heaven. There are people who are true to themselves and even if they consider themselves as athiests but are good people and and are always in seek of the truth but for example died before they found it, they would be going to heaven. Also the disbelievers god talks about burning in hell are the people who know the truth but fight against god and his message. Like the pharoah of moses for example. Or the people who killed jesus or those who betrayed prophet mohammed. Disbeliever is different than non beleiver. But any repentance is accepted if one genuinely repents. Also we do need to realize that there is a heaven and a hell for a reason. Although god is all loving and is the creator of all living and non living things, there would be no reason to burn his people for no reason. But yet he is also the most just. And one who followed and obeyed his laws and was a good human and kind and charitable and etc will not be judged the same in equal as a murderer or antigod. He has given us the path to follow. If we obey we shall be rewarded with a reward we are incapable of imagining. If we disobey we will be punished. Hell doesnt mean eternal. For whatever punishment u do it will vary how much time u spend. Or any time at all and instead be punished on earth as a mercy from god to not burn in hell. But again ur repentance will ALWAYSSS be accepted. For he is the most merciful and forgiving. If u have any questions please ask.

sabts if a person hasn’t heard of Islam or anything that goes along the lines of “God is Allah and he is one and that Mohammad is his last messenger” which is the testimony to enter Islam (Shahada) than that person will go to paradise since they are ignorant of it.
@S.sabr___4 жыл бұрын
sabts It depends on the atheist person. For exemple, some atheists disbelieve because they haven’t heard of Islam. Which means that they are Unaware of Islam. And God will enter them in his paradise. But if they are atheists and Have heard of Islam and still choose to disbelieve than they will not enter.

Savanna keep reading the Qur'an as you will learn so much differences versus the Bible. In the Qur'an Jesus's first miracle was that he spoke and protected his mother Mary's honour when he was in her arms as an infant but in the Bible it was turning water into wine. Also in the Bible he never claims to be God that is the teaching of Paul and the churches... Jesus was one of the mightiest messenger's of Allah.

I’m apologise on behalf of the comments below🥴 As a Muslim I know that God is the most forgiving being ever and there are soooo many stories about people being forgiven because of the tiniest of good deeds. I recommend the lady and the dog. It really isn’t that hard to be forgiven. Hundreds of thousands of messengers have been chosen for every generation and every community so everyone is told about God, hell and the heavens at some point across their lives . You just have to believe that God is fair and knows more than you. Humanity is intelligent enough to understand that nobody has witnessed the creation of the universe let alone something that can make a single atom but that isn’t an excuse to fabricate lies. The Quran is quite a blunt message really that compares the two destinations and how you get to them. Please don’t be discouraged by this and go through to the sweet parts which reassure me in my biggest failures and when the fleeting joys of this world repeatedly disappoints me.

@Adriana Bonita Aziz Salamu alaykum warahmatullah💓 Jazakillahu khairan for your concern sister, im just not really sure whether I completely understand the actual point of your comment. Allah (swt) gave us the sunnah (which for example is al Bukhari with its authentic hadiths) through the Prophet (sas), so that we know how to practise our deen the right way. For example (and im sure you have plenty of knowledge on that but just to bring my point across) does Allah mention the prayer numerous times in the quran as something obligatory for the muslim. But nowhere in the Quran does it say HOW to pray and the only sources we have on that are the authentic hadiths of Rasulullah (sas) who tought us how to do salah exactly, which does make the sunnah (aka al Bukhari) very much needed in the life of a practising muslim. That OBVIOUSLY doesnt replace Quran in any way, shape or form but rather supports the word of Allah with actions. Concerning Ustadh Nouman: I'm very sure he was transferring to the same argument I just touched upon. BUT in all cases the rule is: Dont judge someone randomly without any kind of comprehensible accusation NOR any proof supporting the argument. It may be that that comment was just a greater sin being committed than whatever Ustadh Nouman just got accused of but true wisdom is with Allah (swt) only. ALSO as muslims it is more than important to understand that it is Islam that is perfect and not the muslim, which means that we take anything we consider good and full of baraqah (from e.g. a lecture like Ustadh Noumans) and LEAVE that which we dont consider as good. The video I recommend didn't have aaanything to do with the sunnah of our beloved prophet (sas) (aka al Bukhari). The actual ayah our lively christian sister asked about was the only topic being analized in that video so i really do have a hard time right now trying to understand your comments. InshaAllah was I able to clear the situation up a bit and I would love to hear from you and get to know whether we have the same opinion on that topic or not (and why)❤ take care and wassalam😘

Hi Savannah. Just thought I'd pitch in and I pray that you get a lot of beneficial knowledge from this endeavor of yours. As a Muslim and student of Quran (not a scholar), I've come to know, that much like a Christians, we have a similar belief in that we believe God to be All Wise, Most Loving, Most Forgiving, and Most Just at the same time. So we know He will only give people consequences according to their deeds and even then with quite some leeway. His laws are quite clear. So we believe Hell is there and we're taught what to do to steer clear of it, but we don't question God's wisdom behind letting people go to it? Because to some degree, we realize our subjective feelings about it doesn't make it wrong and that truly wrong and right is judged by the creator. We can just save ourselves and attempt to set good examples and save as many others as we can. Also, with regards to your question as to whether or not the concept of Hell is eternal or not is an interesting one. God several times talks about staying in Hell and Heaven forever. However, we do learn from the sayings of the Prophet (called Hadith that went through their own authentication process) that there are some who will be punished for some time before being cleansed and sent to Heaven because they had some redeeming faith still there whereas others may never leave. That is why there are Muslim scholars who have had the belief that perhaps in the end there will be hardly anyone left in Hell even though many will go in initially. However the goal is to go straight to Heaven as with the description of Hell...you don't really want to spend even a moment closeby. There was actually a verse in Chapter 2 about people who say that 'oh even if we go to Hell it will be just for a couple days' and God basically questions them on how they can feel that way when He made no such promises or deals with them. (Ch 2 Verse 80) So it's a better safe than sorry type of deal. And in the end, God gives us so many means to attain forgiveness and heaven that it would be silly not to make use of them. Also, you'll find many verses in the Quran that can easily apply to people who perhaps didn't have access to the faith for some reason. God knows our circumstances, He's able to guide is from anywhere, and He's Just. :) You chose a very good translation by the way. I love Abdel Haleems one. I would love to attempt to answer any questions in the future as well. Let me know. Salam.

I have the same copy of the quran haha, glad you did this and wish more people would read it and try to understand it like you. It's good to ask questions, it's better to clear doubts rather than blindly following. Islam even advocates for this too. I mean the first words which were revealed was the word 'Read'. “Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists). He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not” (Quran, 96: 1-5)

Imran is Mary 's father, you might know him as Joachim
@xnet-pvzok7284 жыл бұрын
wrong. Imran is Amram in Judeo-Christian beliefs. Joachim is Mary's father. Amram (or Imran as Muslims say) is the father of Miriam, Moses and Aaron. In the Quran, Mary, mother of Jesus is said to be the sister of Aaron which is wrong. Obviously, when Muhammad was scraping together his religion he was borrowing stories from the Jews and Christians and thought Miriam and Mary were the same person.

Hey Savannah, I think you broke youtube 🤣🤣🤣. There are so many people in your comment sections. I wanted to add this comment to explain a few things. Someone in the comment section said, Jesus (pbuh) says in John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." and this means he is God. I would suggest to read the whole chapter. When Jesus said " I and my Father are one" [John 10:30] , if one reads the whole chapter, he says I pray that my disciples are one with us. So he is talking about "ONE in purpose" not one in nature. And that's absolutely true. The Father, Jesus (pbuh) and the disciples were one in purpose. Jesus always preached to do the will of the Father, always preached to worship the Father in heaven. So as his disciples. He never said worship me! “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one- I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." [John 17:20-23] In Hebrew 7:1-3, Melchizedek has no father, no mother, no beginning, no end. He met with Abraham and Gave him fruits of war as said in Genesis 14:17-24. "And Melchizedek, the king of Salem, brought out bread and wine." [Genesis 14:17-24] "This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever." [Hebrew 7:1-3] If Jesus (pbuh) existing before Abraham, should we worship Melchizedek too because he also existed before Abraham plus he never had a beginning and has no end! So is he more god than Jesus (pbuh)? Jesus(pbuh) himself said who is God. "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" [Deuteronomy 6:4] and 1 Timothy 6:16"who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen." Didn't people see Jesus (pbuh) and talked to him?!?! and John 17:3" And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Jesus (pbuh) did not bring a new religion! he always did the will of the Father! He never claimed divinity! Trinity was formed in the 4th century AD by the Council of Nicaea. They were jewish people who believed that Jesus(pbuh) was the messiah. www.history.com/this-day-in-history/council-of-nicaea-concludes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea Why it took more than 300 years to establish trinity? Jesus (pbuh) also said "..., I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." [Matthew 15:24]. So if you are not from Israel, Jesus was not sent for you! John 13:16: "Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him." John 20:17: "17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." Jesus said he has a God! how can he be God, then! John 5:30 "30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me." That sounds like a messenger of God to me, not God! when Jesus(pbuh) was about to be crucified, he went to pray, Matthew 26:39 - "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Who prays like him today? if you see someone praying with his head on the ground you say he is a muslim! If you see Jesus(pbuh) praying like that, will you pray with him to the Father or pray to him!?!? There are some implicit versus like John 10:30 and John 1:1 that one may interpret that Jesus(pbuh) is more than a man, but they are implicit and can be interpreted differently. John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." In the original language that John 1:1 was spoken, Greek, the first word for God is: Θεόν, Theon The second word for God is: Θεὸς Theos biblehub.com/text/john/1-1.htm When they translated to english, they translated both as God, but they are clearly different words with different meaning as intended in the original Greek. Theos meant a "gift from God", Not God. That's absolutely true. Jesus was a gift from God. I am highlighting that the bible actually does not say Jesus was God and we don't have the original text of what Jesus(pbuh) prechead and the Bible has been changed by men according to bible scholars like Bart Ehrman. For example, until the 14th century John 5:7 was part of the bible, but was taken out in the 14th century by the church. So all christians for 14000 years believed that this verse is a word of God! until the church decided it is not!!! Now the only version that still has this verse is kjv! another example that a verse is taken out is Matthew 17:21. again except kjv. In kjv, it says in the footnote that this verse is omitted. Check your bible and see. another example that is added in is the story of the adulteress in the end of Mark gospel. this story is not found in any of the earliest manuscripts we have in Codex Sinaiticus. Look it up! and here is my ref www.biblicalarchaeology.org/daily/biblical-topics/bible-versions-and-translations/absent-from-codex-sinaiticus-oldest-new-testament/ I am saying that we don't have the original words of Jesus (pbuh), and the Bible is changed by men and I don't trust it for my afterlife. But everybody is entitled to their opinions and beliefs. We can disagree but respect each other Gook luch in your research

the islamic view about non-muslims going to hell is that, if the message has been made clear to them to worship God alone, and they still reject it as the truth even after God has shown his clear signs, then they will be destined to hell. Because that is like rejecting the sole purpose of us being . on this earth. It is muslims' duties to spread the word of islam and to show people the truth. basically we believe that by not converting, its equivalent of giving up your entire life for something that will only last a few minutes
