I appreciate your summaries on this series so much. I was asked to work on an art project for a client of mine with throne of glass as the theme …and I had no clue about the story. (I don’t have a ton of time to read so I grabbed the audiobook but the narrator is dreadfully monotone and dull so I couldn’t get into it) So I was happy to finally find your series. sorry for the late reply!! basically, either Celeana or Dorian need to be the one to move forward and "save the world". they are both from the bloodline that could wield the correct magic/tools. nehemia desperately wanted to be the one to fulfill that prophecy, but instead of connecting her to the bloodline, SJM made the choice to have her befriend both Celaena/Dorian so that her eventual death would push them into action. elena knew that this was nehemias fate all along, and nehemia accepted it as a way for her to still help save the world in whatever way she could.

i just wanna say if you’re talking abt the culture of the southern continent is not india ! it’s a mix of arab and south asian cultures. probably iran and more north african. not to diminish what you’re saying but to say india is really stereotypical. she says herself the southern continent is a combo of countries imperialized into utopia. maybe you meant eyllwe sorry if that’s the case but i haven’t gotten there yet tandem reading EOS TOD atm !
