I read both books in the series super fast. They’re certainly not my favorite but I found them to be very fun, if a “turn my brain off” type of thing. The world building is decent enough but holy crap the ending of the second book punched me in the face and took my lunch money.

I loved the shock over the violence in Home Alone 2. My brother was about 9 when we watched this movie in the theater at Christmas and he was just rolling with laughter during the movie. I distinctly remember my mother telling him that you can never throw a brick off a building and hit someone, because they would not only not get up, but could very likely die 🤣🤣🤣

My boyfriend and I just watched Home Alone 2 and had the exact conversation about the violence haha! Plus he’s a maintenance supervisor so he’s very aware of how dangerous most of those scenarios are lol! Definitely one of my favorite Christmas movies though! I liked From Blood and Ash a little more than this one just because there did seem to be more of a plot, and even though i love the steamy scenes, i feel like it was a bit much for me in the second one. I still love the series though and can’t wait for the third one!

After reading this month all the Apollo Trials books(Love thy Arrow of Dedona!) i'm now Reading Song of Achilles and like i knew i enjoy it a lot...A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire sounds such a makjang(korean extreme/crazy melodramas)...Kinda sad we didn't get to have snow but rain :( Still Love Home Alone 1&2 and never had a problem with the stuff there maybe because i never took it really serious and knew from start what's right or wrong and ever crossed my brain to imitate...(yet again kids this days think if a black widow bites them they become spiderman so...)

Romance is my favorite genre which is why I loved it so much! It’s very on par with everything else I read but I totally wouldn’t recommend it to everyone though. So while i respect your s’more opinions (lol) may i recommend one I think similar but better? Saltine crackers, peanut butter, and a marshmallow broiled in the oven (or traditionally over the fire, of course) but it’s honestly my favorite snack of all time. I think, for me, it fixes the s’more’s issue of “too much sweet” but unfortunately it means that I eat more of them 😬 aaannnnnd for some reason you can’t buy a small box of saltines and have to invest in a large box of them hahaha
