I was the girl who managed to incorporate the word scrumptious in every sentences and i just got nostalgia whiplash reading your comment. i don’t have any writing yet, just an idea that came to me after reading a chapter in a book i had to read for school. but i know ana loves ghost stories, so i wanted to share it anyway! the two main characters, siblings (probably going to make em twins), discover a strange object in their new house that summons 4 ghosts. each ghost died in different a way, and they all have some kind of unfinished business that they need to resolve or else their souls can’t rest is peace. ex: one girl never got to tell the boy she loved that she was in love with him before she died. so the two main characters have to help each ghost complete their unfinished business so that their souls can lay to rest, and they discover some secrets about their new town while their at it. that’s about it for now and if anyone was wondering, the book i was reading was “the things they carried” by tim o’brien and the chapter was “the lives of the dead.” i probably would have never read it if i didn’t need to for school, but it was actually sooo good n i would totally recommend it if you aren’t sensitive to war and gory descriptions. also kinda giving a julie and the phantoms vibe, i used to be obsessed with that show 🙏
