As an older viewer - a few words of advice - if you choose to treat yourself, do so! You seriously work so hard you absolutely deserve it. Don’t dive too deep into negative comments/rumors. It seems like you have so many kind, positive people in your life - focus your energy on those who truly know and care for you. I really appreciate your honesty and your lighthearted content 😊

I'm a 59 year old mom to a beautiful 22 years old R.N. daughter, and I follow you. You are too precious, and I admire you. You are an amazing, mature young lady, and you will go far.😊 All of these negative assumptions are from people that are immature and jealous. You continue to be your best self, and you will thrive! Best of luck to you and Will and your future when you graduate from the BEST University in the country!🥰🙏🏼

I'm one of your older viewers and girl let me just say I appreciate how genuine, funny, and beautiful you are. I have no ideaaa what these commenters are talking about, you have remained true and consistent to who you are throughout!!! You’ve always been so humble Lauren. I think rude assumptions usually come from ignorance and jealousy.. you work your little bum off and deserve to have the things you do! Obviously I don’t personally know you, but i’ve been watching since the beginning and I see a hard working, lovely, inspiring woman. I feel you on the childhood and the bullying - struggles build character. You’re someone I would be happy for my daughter to watch on KZbin and look up to. I admire your work ethic and positivity ❤

I promised myself that when I finished my uni degree I would buy a black Prada handbag. I did it, at age 43. I don't use it very often because I don't want to appear pretentious, but seeing you so visibly hurt by some of these assumptions has made me think 'Stuff it. We work hard, so why not enjoy the things that we reward ourselves with'. You are a kind person Lauren, who works hard. Anyone who thinks you are stuck up, materialistic or pretentious just wishes they could live the life you do because I bet if they worked half as hard at making their dreams come true as they do at putting you down, they too would have things that make them happy. Keep doing you 📱

What a humble queen. I literally love your content Lauren. I am the same way. I am self-driven and have made everything on my own. I paid for my own school. I didn't get help from my family. I also had some childhood trauma I had to work through as well. It kills me when I see people make assumptions about the things you buy because as an adult you should be able to get things you weren't able to as a child. I as an adult bought myself what others see a childish things, such as, squish mallows, etc. There is nothing wrong with that! IT is apart of healing sometimes.

I'm a Mom of a teenager (I am an older viewer)...be true to yourself. You know who you are and those close to you know who you are. What I tell my son - often when someone says something negative about you, they don't feel sure of themselves; so by being negative about you, it makes them feel better. It's all them - not you. Go forward with your head high...you have a bright future ahead of you.

I am so proud of all you have accomplished and I don’t even know you personally. I am one of your older viewers and agree 100% with Kristen B’s comment. Coming from a childhood where you have struggled financially to where you are now paying for your tuition, your rent, car and all other normal adult life expenses, if you want to buy something go ahead and buy it, it’s your earned money. Don’t dwell on the negative comment or assumptions because it’s all about the person who made those comments and nothing about who you really are. Live your life and be happy. Happy New Year Lauren! Hi Lauren, I follow multiple channels and yours stands out for me because of your personality. Through the screen I can see you're such a sweetheart, kind to others, caring and most of all grateful for all the things you have and do. Being in the public eye can be difficult because people will always find bad things to say about you. There is no perfect job, see it as a downside to yours and try to think about all the people who say nice things about you. I wish I lived close to you so we could meet up. I'm sure we could'vd been friends. I see so many similarities. Love from the Netherlands.

I try not to have assumptions about people as much as possible because we don't know what happens behind clsoed doors or what they have lived through. Assumptions people have had about me have really hurt and been the complete opposite of me. I have learnt resently that you need to treat yourself and need to acknowldge your achievments in life (the big and the small). I forget to celebrate the big and little things in my life because I always compared them to what others are doing. I bought my first car last year (I was 22) brand new with my own saveings, but I compared it to people I knew in highschool who at 20 were buying and building there own houses. So for me 2023 is the year of not comparing my life clock (acedemics, romantic/relationship, job, health, etc) to others because we are all so different. Everyone hits milestones at differnt points in there lives and we have to celebrate the little things eg, getting a perfect GPA for a semester or maybe it is just passing a specific course, maybe it is breaking a bad habbit. This celebration might be a night off work to relax, dinner out, a nice bottle of wine, splurge on an item you have wanted but couldn't justify the price of normally. For some this is luxury handbags, others it is perfume or makeup or fine dinning or a bubble bath or a trip somewhere or staying in a hotel overnight. Just something that is out of the normal for you that is a treat and celebration for your effort into a goal. Also I get the accet thing I grew up in a tiny farming town (2,500 people), the kind of place with no triffic lights, you are related to everyone, and you introduce yourself with your last name so people can track who they know that you are related to. When I moved for University I sounded so much more country than I do now 6 years later. Though every so oftern someone will tell me that my "country is showing" because of something I say or do. But when I go back to see family, I switch back to country really quickly and takes longer to adjust back to city even though I have lived out of my home town for 6 years. Good luck to you with all of your big and small milestones this coming year. I hope you can celebrate the small successes as well as the large.

We almost lost our house because my parents were struggling to keep up with the rent. We struggled to buy groceries and what not. I also grew up having to work for what I want. I struggle now with money because I never grew up learning how to manage money or budget money. I am also a college student going to 2 different colleges. It is really rough but I am proud of myself. In your newer videos and with the way you look you seem to always have the PERFECT life but I recently watched an older video of yours of how you were bullied in high school which is something not-so-perfect and what I can really relate to. And some of what I can’t relate to is just because I’m now 35 and have already even gotten my master’s degree but chose to do all of it and many of my undergrad classes online and at small colleges without any Greek life to even try to get into, and all but my 1st college for my first 2 years didn’t even have any dorms.

Also, about the luxury stuff - I used to be super insecure about using our luxury items or how often we go to Disney. I hated some of the comments I got from “friends” about how we spend our money. My husband and I both work a full time and part time job EACH, so he was quick to remind me that we work really hard for our money and can spend it however we want to. Not to mention, my LV neverfull was an investment that will only increase in value. That bag from TJMaxx loses its value the second you walk out of the store 😅

It's soooo normal for accents to fluctuate, often you don't even know your own accent until you're around other people and then you have to notice and adapt for the first time to communicate clearly At this point I have a weird Frankenstein accent where I've had to pronounce certain vowels differently to be understood, and when I'm with family it reverts back fully!

People that try to tear down others are just miserable and can’t stand the sight of people being happy. You are such a ray of sunshine. Laziness and rest are two different things, rest is productive as it's allowing your brain to process and your body to just relax, and rest can come in many different froms, if you don't rest you crash and burn out. Laziness is procrastinating things that you need to be doing (and yes you can procrastinate resting!)
