I run SF X300T-B on my Primary Carbine mounted at 12 oclock position. Absolutely 0 Operational experience but ive shot quite a few Night Tine 2Gun Matches . We shoot out to 75Y on 6" steel plates and i have absolutely 0 issues seeing Blue Painted steel tsrget with X300T-B. I think too many people get caught up needing 80k+ candella . From my experience that little Lightweight SF X300T-B does wonders mounted on pistols and carbines . I still run the tried and true SF X300U-A on my go too CZ SP01 Optics Ready SAO . Surefire and Cloud are my personal favorites but im getting away from bulky lights and will more than likely juat put SF X300T-B on my go too carbines.. Such an honor to be able to listen to these caliber of dudes. The knowledge transfers are phenomenal

For the GBRS dudes: Love your content guys! While we’re talking about gear, I have a question maybe you all can dive into sometime on the next QA session and give some perspective on: Camo. As arguably some of the most stealthy guys on the planet and having conducted tons of infiltrations and exfiltrations without getting caught, did you guys ever feel there was a certain camo pattern be it a multicam variant or digital or bdu etc etc that you guys felt gave you more or less concealment during long movements in the open? Did you guys get to choose your camo uniforms based on needs or was desert digi and multicams issued as a whole to devgru based on your deployment locations? Was there ever a discernible difference noticed by you guys as the operators on the ground in camo effectivness or do patterns not really matter as much? Were there ever tactical concerns that went so far as to make sure your plate carriers and guns were the same pattern as your uniforms as to not create sillouhettes or disruptions that enemy eyes could pick up on? Do you think there should be an abided by philosophy when it comes to camo and gear ie: make sure they’re all matching patterns, or do you guys just where whatever looks the coolest and if it’s FDE or Gray or multicam etc is a back burner thought? I guess my point is how important is camo in your line of work and how much of a consideration is it when building out gear/weapons systems?

What's your preference between A and B mount for Surefire pistol light?
@bubbaballer88
@bubbaballer88 2 ай бұрын
What’s an and b? Just different mounting positions? Under or side?
@DOHCside1
@DOHCside1 2 ай бұрын
Ultimately, your choice depends on your usage. If you frequently switch between various firearms, the A mounts would be suitable for you. However, if your preference is to focus on a single weapon, then the B mounts would be a better option. The primary distinction between the two is that the A mounts feature a quick detach mechanism, whereas the B mounts offer a more secure, solid attachment. One downside I find with the A mount is that it tends to rattle.

B model, I’ve had the mounting levers fail and the light rattles around after heavy use with the A model. Just FYI. If you’re not shooting constantly the A model is cool for quick donning and doffing for different weapon systems.
