As an older Marine, I wonder why today's armor covers such a small area of vital organs. I know the armor in my day could not stop all rounds, but at least it covered my entire torso all the way th the hips.

Also when it comes to shooting while looking thru any kind of scope or optics… while playing airsoft I have it so my head doesn’t have to move, I just bring the riffle up and I’m looking straight into the optic already. I think DJ already does this same thing with real shooting of course .

"Short" (24" or so) handle 8 pound sledge works great for that just choke up on the handle to the where it is manageable if you're doing it as a workout earlier in your session. Otherwise, at the end of a workout, a 4 pound "engineers hammer" with a 16" handle held at the end of the handle is great. Should be able to pick up a 4 pound hammer used for a few bucks on Facebook marketplace. Might luck out and find a deal on an 8 or 10 pound sledge with a long handle to cut down while your at it... (or keep it long and beat on a tire) The plus to using actual hammers over the adjustable dumbell is that a lot of people have hammers laying around and if you do buy one for use in the gym then you have a hammer when you need it 😅... The disadvantage of a hammer is the weight is not easily adjustable beyond just where you grip the handle.
