Ready. Set. Fish Traps! - Day 17 & 18 of 30 Day Survival Challenge Canadian Rockies

The bushcrafting boys look for more luck at Grizzly Lake before getting drenched again with wet weather. Greg forages a few more edible plants, then breaks out the big saw and goes logging. Zach stays busy with a new carving project, while Greg builds and tests a trout-landing set trap, hoping to add some automation to the catch and cook process.
There's only one rule for the 30 Day Survival Challenge: If you want to eat, you got to Catch and Cook it.
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

I absolutely LOVE Alone. That and Survivorman because he was one of the first to be truly by himself, set up cameras, filming, editing, and actually still surviving. But thus is just awesome! I've binged watched all of the episodes so far. This is my dream to do this kind of thing. I definitely need more knowledge of wild edibles, because it is next to none.
