Traxxas used to be a heck of a go to but the last 10 years their prices are just too marked up. Their race oriented trucks need a ton of tuning and mods to compete if it’s a class with other brands, and finally the last few years they’re updating some old designs that had some long standing weak areas. Being they’re made in Taiwan alongside all the rest of the rc brands their mark up is just about intolerable these days compared to the rest. I bought an arrma outcast 8s over their xmaxx last year and haven’t bought any of their models in several years. Just replacement parts for some of my fleet occasionally. Too bad on them.

More like disappointed. They have gotten so many people into the hobby, and helped so many people realize that there are many other brands to choose from. I'm one of those people. I started with nitro Revos. And after I was frustrated enough with that I found x ray and losi. My ownership of those brands has been less expensive due to great reliability and fantastic performance and predictability. It's just one of those things where you don't really know until you try it. But that's the progression of the hobby. I'm glad arrma has recovered from the traxxas lawsuit and they are making decent products.

She’s pretty. The same batteries were attached on the transmitter box of the Lasernut. They are sealed, then taped to the box.

@ReadySetRC Lol yeah I keep telling myself none are coming in until I sell 1 or 2 and then I got the hammer rey, machete and the 8s blackjack boat lol. I'm a sucker for good deals. The machete and Losi were $300 and great value. So rc funds are definitely tapped or I'd definitely probably have gotten the vigilante. But that src is a beast you got!!

I liked this since it’s debut. Haven’t owned one yet, but I love the lines, and over all stance of this better than the Traxxas. Losi usually has their handling game on point. Not sure how this will do against the powerful Traxxas in a straight line. Both should be comparable in durability. This will be fun to see! 👊🏼😎👍🏻

Its pretty fast on 3s. High 40s. I think i got 48 on mine if i remember right

Can you run this on 4s? Or does the moter not like 4s power? I ran a 4s lipo with a 130A esc and a 3900kv moter. And the esc whent up in flames... might have bin the gearing. 20t pinion and 57t spur... Anyway nice truck, awesome content and like listing to you while working on my own projects! Back before I had to sell my RC collection This was actually one of my favorite short course trucks. How funny is that you had that sitting in your attic LMAO. @Adubbs87 What's up brother! I remember you. We were having a down to earth chat in one of the vids a few back. The SCTE was one of those trucks I always wanted way back and then Losi changed the line up to the Tenacity line but the plastic chassis ones. I didn't mind the plastic chassis but there was some changes I wasn't a fan of plus then didn't adjust the price much either. But when this dropped had to have it. I wish I had it on the channel sooner. It's a great truck. Life and other projects got in the way😊 Appreciate the support and hope you have a great week💪💯

Hell, yeah brother I enjoy talking to you man. Sorry it’s been a little while since I’ve been able to comment you know how it goes. Life takes over. Plus in all honesty. I’m so busy between working and trying to enjoy every second I can with my little girl. But it’s fun because she likes watching videos with me even though she’s so little. I also completely agree with you when they made the changes. I wasn’t a huge fan of all the plastic and no price drop. But this definitely was an amazing car to drive. I just think it handled so well. Especially if you switch the tires out. I hope everything’s going well with you and the family and you guys have a great weekend. Not a real Losi, just a Losi branded RTR toy. Not even close to Tekno SCT4.10.

@deltabravo1811 I disagree with the comment "not a real Losi". For me the non Pro lineups were not real Losi's with the composite chassis and components. This has some of the bones as the TEN-SCTE lineup. Not sure if this falls closer to the 2.0 or 3.0 though. As for Tekno, IMO I would never compare those to Losi RTR's. TLR would be a better comparison but TLR has not made an SCT since the 3.0.
