I literally just watched into the fire on Netflix (pretty sure that’s the name) and it was abt a cold case from the 80s of a teenager that went missing and when her real mom found out her daughter was missing she tried everything to find out what happened and it ended up being her adoptive father who killed her and this dude was a very violent man I mean he had killed before he had even gotten to her and the reason I bring that up is bc if you have a place giving out kids that need a home predators will try to take advantage of that.

I'm confused about these letters. Were these written in support of the suspect for the court, or were they written in support of the couple in finding a surrogate? I know some people who've gone the surrogate route who had to have character witnesses write statements of support for potential carriers to read in aiding their decision. Also, a pastor is not the same as a priest, but I'm surprised there's not some kind of follow-up investigation into the husband, especially as he's changed congregations more than once. The suspect's father is a LEO? There's a lot of this that is straight out of an SVU episode and it's terrifying.

What a horrific story. I’m glad they were found out before they had an opportunity to hurt the child. As for what should happen next, obviously the child should absolutely NOT go to the couple, any of their family members, or anyone close to them. The surrogate should be investigated as well. If it’s proven she was unaware of the couple’s intentions and is a safe and responsible person, she could keep the child if she is able/willing. I’d say the child should be “given up for adoption”, but sadly it’s not that simple. It’s traumatic for kids to grow up in the system.

2:00 Red flag number one: a veterinarian and a dog breeder? So, there's no love there for the animals or their well-being at all: it's just purely about money. "Thanks for your money. Here's this purebred dog that has tons of issues because it's also heavily inbred, and here's my vet card for when your dog gets sick with some random thing that no mutt ever gets and will become a chronic issue." If i found out my vet was also a breeder, I would never take my animal there again, and I would tell everyone I know. Hell, I'm old, I'll write an angry letter. i was so pissed at myself when I bought ferrets from the pet store and then realized there were ferret rescue groups, and we could have resued some instead of feeding into this breeding bullshit.

Man, they're out there making us gays look so bad. Ughhhh......I hate this....also, I'm not necessarily getting less angry, appalled, disgusted, like #Woodchipper24 (iykyk), just becoming almost numb, like "Yup, here's another one, guys...." It's just tiring. I'll keep fighting for these kids out there, but do these pedos ever get tired? Like, it's so much harder to do these things due to the extensive amount of time and work so they don't get found out than it is to be an honourable member of society, and be attracted/wish to do things with your people within your peer group.
