90% of the negative reactions are from people who either hate Reagan or were taught to hate Reagan and negative reviews of the film won't be based on the film but on their personal biases against Reagan. Ditto most of the positive reviews and their fondness for Reagan. I'm a history buff and I'm very interested in this film and I've always liked Dennis Quaid as well as Penelope Ann Miller and Jon Voight.

Saw this. Enjoyed it. Parts are done in a documentary style - which is a little distracting - but it does make the politics of those times come alive. Dennis Quaid as Reagan is great. Penelope Miller as Nancy is even better. As a movie - this is entertaining and informative.
