such great advice, it helps remind us all why we still do this; for the love of it! Talking about things that everyone is talking about and what's trending might get you the views. But talking about what you are truly passionate about will help you keep going for the long run, and will bring like-minded people that care about the same things you care about and create a family around you; not just numbers and followers.

I really agree on the point that you don't wanna get famous over night. I wouldn't consider myself "famous", but after making one video about a specific niche, people are only going to expect more of that content rather than what you like to make. A video that I made is as of right now nearing 200k views, which has put me in a spiral of only posting about that subject. Something that I also really agree on is that KZbin is addicting. You're always going to want more, and it makes for a lot of pressure. 4 weeks ago, I'd be extremely happy with 1k views. Now I feel like my channel is doing "bad" when it doesn't get at least 10k views per day. And that in such a short time period! Kind of scary. I wanna end by saying that this video felt very relatable to me. I watched it all the way through and it honestly felt really good. Like sitting down with a friend and just having a deep conversation about something. I will try to take the tips you discussed in the video into account. You've earned a new sub and I can't wait to be a long for the ride. There's greatness ahead of you!

I keep watching videos like these and I’ve been taking small steps - think about it, then brainstorm, then film - and now I just need to edit and upload and take refuge in the fact that the first video is gonna suck and nobody’s going to watch it. Thank you for serving this to the world! You’ve impacted me and I’m sure so many others; the comments section proves that!

Thank you Danny. I started my channel last month after debating with myself countless times. Your advice here really helped. Looking forward to your content in 2021!

Man I NEEDED to hear this. As someone who’s started growing their channel for just under a year I still get discouraged from time to time and to hear your thoughts on the algorithm and “playing the game” opened my eyes.

I’ve been making videos for over 10 years now and I just always dreamed of getting big fast. Now I’ve realised it’s not about that and I just need to be honest with myself and make videos that reflect who I really am as a person, so I’ll never ever stop pushing hard to build out my dream into a reality! Thank you for the video, I hope to see all of you in the future!

This is motivating to just start with what I have, which is not much. LOL. "You need to start when you're not ready... you're not gonna be ready until you put the time in."

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! Just started my own channel, where I travel and try all the best wing places. I’m not expecting to be HUGE tomorrow or next month and so on. I’m stoked on the journey. We have to fall in love with the process, and do everything with the right intentions and success will follow.

Man...this is so good. I've been plugging at my channel over a year and really found varying degrees of success on videos for very little apparent rhyme or reason. But I love what you say about authenticity and finding that and being yourself and keeping on going. Finding the balance of videos that get clicks and creating what you love. That's so so good. I have a terrible time with clickbaity titles. I really really hate them. I unsub and avoid clicking on clickbaity videos and channels. But I need to find a balance of intriguing title without betraying my integrity. Keep on keeping on Danny!
