This is not aikido, aikido means balance harmony and control. This is not harmony as the defender is punching and kicking.

john words if you want to think it's just dancing then that's your opinion it's showing you techniques on what you can be taught. it works on the street if you was ever attacked.... but with a lot more damage. ;on concrete if you want to really see it's useage go out and try your luck see what happens but this is controlled it's just showing you ?

Hmmm, lets see.. How to critique without sounding rude.. VERY VERY nice techniques but kinda unrealistic.. 1st of all those guys are a bit too cooperative after their initial strike as if they cant do anything else after the defensive guy touches them. Secondly hes kinda too stiff in the legs. Hes not moving enough.. In Aikido your supposed to be moving the whole time.. And #3 Seems as if hes struggling to carry out the techniques. In Aikido its supposed to be a smooth transition. At least thats how I was taught. Just saying..

+Marco Polke Casado the original aikido is smooth... "Ai" mean harmony, without harmony you can go to train other thing... I don' t know, krav maga maybe. But the real, japanese aikido is really based on harmony and "moving around". This is really strange and not very effective. In aikido there isn't force or "muscle", this is not important.

@Istiak Hasan Sorry if it sounded like that. My intention was to show concern for the lack of sparring, even light sparring. If you know of someone that does that and can point me to them, I'll be really thankful- I just havent found them yet in Aikido, and the ones I have found dont do techniques anywhere like that.

aikido doesn't come from karate. + dean winter techniques you see in aikido some you will see in jujitsu but karate comes Okinawa ?
