I am kind of new here, but I love your enthusiasm. I am drawn to it because you have the light of Him all over you and through you. Praise God! I have been a Christian since I was 18 and newly married. I prayed quietly so much for my husbands' soul and in only 4 months , he became one too! Unspeakable joy! We had 5 children. We raised them in a Godly home. Some are following the Lord, and some are not. YET. Sadly my husband died quite young...in his 40's. The Lord is my everything. I so love the calling the Lord has put in you. I will pray for you, dear sister in Christ. What a pure joy you are!!! God Bless You and your family!

So thankful I found you. I grew up Catholic, raised 3 of my 6 daughters Catholic, went through a terrible divorce, upon my girls graduating they chose to go with their father. Two came back to me. The hurt I had for years was so deep...through prayer my ex brother in law helped me and I found Jesus! My relationship with Him is new but I know he is real! I’ve been expanding my studies and want to create a prayer journal/ journal for my estranged daughters...somehow KZbin led me to you and I’m forever grateful...love your passion, your realness, your guidance, ...you’ve made a difference to me!

I had no idea what to do with what i found. You explain bible study in ways that makes sense. I dislike guided books. I feel they are rather shallow. You showed me how to use other resources. AHHHHH! I love that you're pursuing your calling, even if it is on youtube. You're changing my life, I just needed you to know! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Bible studies! Diving deep into God's word and really chasing him is all i want to do that I get so annoyed that day to day life and work gets in the way. I also have a one year old, unfortunately and heart breakingly am a single mom and need to work more than fulltime to support us, but I still sneak in all of your videos while doing paperwork and dishes and whatnot. God healed me from a tormenting relationship with food a few months ago, and since then I've grown so much closer to Him and have a newfound inspiration by Him in my life. I know it is difficult to talk about or share convictions that you know the majority of the Christian population does not share such as women’s roles and church discipline like you have before. So thank you for being transparent and honest in such a loving way. You are doing an amazing job here. So...you wanted us to comment something about ourselves, and I've decided to share my testimony with you! I'm Jess! 30 years old, and a disabled military spouse! I only recently really came to Christ, and every day is still a struggle to plant myself firmly at his feet and stay rooted in God. I grew up in a split household. My mom had main custody, while my DNA donor (I can't, in all good conscious, give him the label of "Dad" or "father") had visitation every other weekend. DNA donor took me to church; I LOVED God, but the pastors made me more scared than anything else, because it was all hellfire and brimstone. I quit going to church when I ended "his" visitations at the age of 13. And then I started looking more toward my moms beliefs; wicca/occult/paganism. I became angry with God, laughed and spit in his face and rebuked him at every turn. And I STAYED that way for years and years, until after I met a friend named Esther. She invited me to a military family study group...and I went. And kept going. I didn't really have my faith back in God at that point, but it was enough to start cracking the walls I'd put up. All the while, I'm struggling with severe mental illness. I mean, the worst. While I fought this battle of the faiths (always swapping between Christianity and paganism), I was fighting for my mental health. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital twice, back to back. During one stay, I met Joy! She lent me one of her Christian fiction books to read when she was released from the hospital, and tucked inside...was a note saying that she'd been praying for me during the duration of our time together. And that added more cracks to the walls I'd put up against God. Soon after my release from the hospital, I started seeing a faith-based therapist. I started going to church (as an athiest). I got involved with a women's group through the church (again, as a non-believer). And my walls crumbled. I was baptized in January of 2019. Things got better, and worse. My faith isn't as strong. It's tiny. Not even the size of a grain of rice. I have my doubts, my questions, and days where I want to go back to old ways and habits and give up the Holy Ghost. But God has helped me plant my feet firmly. He's surrounded me with amazing people, both on the internet and in real life, to guide me along. You're one of those people! I couldn't be more appreciative of your channel. And that's it. That's my testimony. That's a bit of my heart, shared with you, since you shared yours.

I have been cracked and shattered, more times than I care to share. The last time, I couldn't pick myself up. My husband couldn't put me back together. So he scheduled a meeting for me with our Priest (Catholic here), and drove me to it so I couldn't back out. After that hour, hour and a half, I had a direction, a purpose, a goal. And I've been going ever since. God has slowly put the pieces in the proper order, healing my heart and soul slowly over time. It's still a struggle, I still have questions, but I will continue to push forward on my journey with God. I pray, Jess, that you have a similar journey - and can feel God's presence in every step forward you take. God bless, my sister!

Thank you so much for all you do to help guide our walk with God. I am a veterinarian and struggle with anxiety when clients try to make me feel guilty of not being available 24/7..sometimes I wonder if God's grace of becoming one of his helpers meant I should serve all the time..but some people just wait til their pet has been sick for 10 days to want you to see them on Sunday afternoon 🤷‍♀️. We'll I started reading the Bible for the first time ever to get closer to God and try to learn more about my purpose and you are the one helping me the most as I have no church, no pastor or anything yet. I was raised Catholic, but at this moment I need God in a deeper way. Thank you for educating yourself to really help us🙏 this is definitely your calling and although I wish we could just go to your kitchen table and study there with you, the internet will do for now😉

I love your passion for the Lord. Finding your channel has truly help me realize that I have been putting God on the back burner. This week I have been so aware of how much time I am spending on social media and how little to no time at all being given to Jesus. This past year He has brought me out of a full time outside the home job, to a Stay at home Mom and homeschooling my youngest three kids. It was a hard year with lost of adjusting. Hey Faith! I am currently a nursing student at Bob Jones University and a discipleship group leader at my school. This past semester I had really fallen out of my walk with the Lord.. I had really fallen away from being in the word every day and in constant prayer and growth in him. I felt really guilty and broken over this, especially being a leader discipleship leader of other girls.. I feel that finding your KZbin channel has really been an answer to prayer!! Faith, I discovered your videos about 3 months ago, and the Holy Spirit in you has totally changed my life. I have been a Christian since I was a child and have always loved to read the Bible, but your videos have taken me to a much deeper level. I am excited about Bible study again! I love your honesty and transparency and passion for God's Word so much! I love that you can say, "I don't know." I love that you don't give up, but keep digging deeper into the scripture rather than leaning on your own understanding. I am 16 and I have a medical condition (hydrocephalus) that has caused me to have 7 brain surgeries so far and will probably cause me to have more. I am also from a denomination that doesn’t ordain women, and so I know that can be a very difficult to figure out what to do with a seminary degree or a strong burden to be in ministry. I do what to encourage you, though, that you have been such a huge blessing for me. I came across your channel very recently, but I have found so much inspiration and spiritual encouragement. When I came across your channel, I started doing some of my own Bible journaling, and it has enlivened Bible study for me. I grew up a pastors kid, went to a missionary training college for a year, and I’m now a pastors wife, and I’ve never felt so excited to dig into the Bible as now. So, thank you for your ministry. I want to say that I can also completely relate to thinking that I have to be a perfect Christian because everyone expects it and then realizing it was largely self imposed. It can be tough trying to figure out how to be that person that’s a strong spiritual leader, be genuine without sharing too much, and developing a strong community that you can go to for your own spiritual and personal support/refreshment.

I really feel your story and wanted to encourage you- I went through 4 years of nursing school. I knew it was my calling. I started with an 18mo (I had when I was 16), had a baby in the middle, and finished 8mo pregnant with #3! Before I could even think of finding a job I was pregnant with #4! It’s been almost 10 years since I went through all that just to be a stay at home homeschooling mom. I wondered why I was called to go through schooling!! Well, in October I got trained to do limited OB ultrasound so I can volunteer my services at a pregnancy center and counsel women to help them confidently choose life and connect with resources and most importantly JESUS so that they and their children can experience ABUNDANT LIFE! It’s so sweet how all the pieces finally fit together in such a redemptive way. On the other side of all the struggles I’ve got hope and wisdom to share. When you shared about your calling it resonated so strongly with me, I’m really feeling called to go to seminary and have been called to teach scriptures since I was a little girl. Life has lead me to a different place (disobedience ) but the call has never left me. Hi faith, thank you for sharing your heart with us! It’s always a blessing to watch the Lord work through you to spread His love and light. Your journey reminds me of my own life journey. I remember as a teen i felt becoming a counselor is the direction i should work towards. I actually thought i would get married young, have lots of babies, lots of dogs and other animals in need of a loving home. Life just didn’t go there. I’m now 44 single and finally at peace without children and my animals. On my first day of college my sweet momma had left a beautiful card on the drivers seat of my card wishing me blessings on my first day. Honestly though I couldn’t picture myself finishing college. I had not struggled academically, but i was a painfully shy child and teen and overweight…i experienced tons of bullying. I did not like school, but each semester i just kept moving forward praying for the Lords guiding hand. I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology. From there (the kid who hated school) went to grad school to become a counselor. I was 24 when i landed a great job! I thought to myself, “Thank you Lord! I’ve landed and will be planted here for awhile. Then, due to unforeseen events I had to take a medical leave and lost my job because of it. Ooooohhhhh i struggled. One night i was so overcome w depression, fear, loneliness, and darkness i took nearly an entire bottle of Benadryl. I ended up in the hospital. I struggled for years after that just wrestling w depression and anxiety. During all this time my sisters were horrible young adults and I found myself in a place to help support my parents through many difficult situations. Sprinkle in there several surgeries and a broken leg, arm and spine for my parents, i had become a skilled DIY nurse. Now, looking back, i can also see the reason for certain situations and find the pieces of gold here and there. I’ve had many opportunities come up that wouldn’t have if things hadn’t fallen just as they did. I have precious memories w my parents that most ppl don’t get because they’re busy working and raising a family. While i began to see a sliver of light i struggled with purpose. What was the purpose of my life? One night, after caring for my mom recovering from major back surgery, i came across a KZbin video that caught my attention. I’ve always loved art and being creative, but i also had a huge longing to learn more about God! As i Bible journaled, I started learning and even memorizing scripture. When my bibles would grow eventually start a new one. I looked at my shelf one day and thought, “ i don’t want these beautiful bibles to collect dust.i want them to bless hearts. So, i began looking for ppl to send them to anonymously. I pray over these bibles and i ask God to help me find who i can bless. I’ve lost track of how many bibles I’ve sent, but I’m not interested in numbers. I’m just me a woman in her mid forties in the St. Louis, Missouri suburbs coloring, painting, writing, journaling, praying in bibles and sending them to … wherever the Lord leads me. I found a purpose…spread the Love and Light of Our Savior.

Hi Faith! I found your videos a few weeks ago, and I have been super encouraged and have learned so much! I have a similar call to missions and ministry, but God took me a different route than I expected. He actually led me into ministry through teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to kids and teens during the day and adults at night. After 10 years of that, God opened the door for me to work with an association of churches full time to support and develop collaborative ministry evangelism opportunities. “My plan” was originally to go to Bible college and seminary because I knew my call from God to missions, but He led me to study and learn through my local church, collegiate ministry, and summer missions as I went to a public college and grad school for education. Over the years, I’ve used a variety of resources and have learned a lot as I’ve prepared to teach Sunday School and lead discipleship groups. I definitely see the value in Bible college and seminary, and maybe one day the Lord will lead me to go. In the meanwhile, teaching like you offer from your education really helps me “fill in the gaps,” and I personally love hearing it from a woman of God that is passionate about His Word. I have spent hours talking about (and drawing pictures of) a place that I see. I try to draw something like a map to invite my other ministry friends into this place. To which they say with love and amusement, “here she goes agains…” 😜 The problem with this place and why I have to draw maps to prove it’s real is because the place is virtual. And most people think virtual doesn’t exist in “real” life and therefore is not considered a “real” ministry. But to me this virtual space is just as real as any other space. It has its benefits and drawbacks like everything else. And I feel deeply called to it. All that to say I feel a solidarity with you. I know it’s hard. Keep going, we are all here cheering you on in this work.
