Hi Kumi. Thanks for your updates! Always great to hear from you. My advice for depression is he should go to see doctor and get advice from the professional. My personal experience was, I got an advice to do what makes me really enjoying. And they were Pilates, meditation and having a dog. So it worked for me. Think your friend, if he is interested, can try from the videos on beginner playlist. Or some relaxing workout on my channel sounds good to start to. Sorry couldn’t reply earlier. Hope it’s helpful though.

Thank you so much for your great advice! On sunday he told me that he is going to see a doctor on monday(which means yesterday), so I think he's already got some professional advice there as well. I will tell him what you just wrote to me. Since he has upper and lower back pain as well, your playlist will help him a lot! Doing what makes us feel great is really important as you said.
