I can not describe how beautiful this is. Blackrack has done such an incredible job with this mod. This will blow new life into KSP1 graphics wise. I can't imagine how hard this is to do, let alone have a minimum FPS impact. Although I predict this mod won't release before KSP2, this will topple KSP2's clouds by a BIG leap. This mod will keep KSP1 alive through cinematics for a looong time until KSP2's new parts release.

This looks SO MUCH like how the clouds in DCS work. The clouds in MSF look a bit better but I'm guessing it's because they use more layers and they allow added effects, such as lightning. What I'm most impressed with is how this works in a 2011 era game and isn't that performance heavy. It's amazing.

@@q_nx2321 Actually beautiful clouds are only a graphical part of weather system. Interactions with weather phenomena should be one of the priorities for the sequel. Just look how much atmospheric conditions affect rocket launches and its a main struggle of airfoil-based atmospheric flight.

Nope, only visual for this particular mod - but man that would be cool, shifting realistic wind / air current behavior would add dynamics to atmospheres! There is a wind mod and a ground effect mod though!
