Yes because when an "unarmed" person attacks a person with a gun it can change realy fast to "armed". And thats when you defend such shootings. Or when its dark and an "unarmed" person dosent follow your orders and puts his hands in his Pockets, you have less then 1 second to decide if he pulls out a gun and kills or if he pulls out his phone. Thats also a scenario where you can defend it. Its not always that easy, only because the person was unarmed the moment he got shot.
