Can a REPE Company invest in a company specifically created for a construction / rehabilitation project instead of a larger corporation that will carry doing multiple projects? Like the actual portfolio companies of REPE firm will only be companies established solely to make each independent project work from a financial, legal, and regulatory Frame work.

Hi there, so the long answer is no. When a PE firm is looking to invest it needs to see proof of profits this needs financial statements over a few years. Therefore, a company just set up to only create some sort of real estate would not be something REPE would be wanting to put in their portfolio as it is very risky
