I have enjoyed all of your videos, well shot, well edited and great commentary. The best thing about your videos is that you appear to be a very nice couple. It is a pleasure to watch you both enjoy each other and what you are sharing together. Loved your excitement at you Hobbiton trip, we loved it too.

I've discovered your channel and enjoying your videos of you two touring my home country. Just wanted to say I totally feel you on the motion sickness. My family and I went on the Milford Sound tour (the one day super bus/boat tour from Queenstown). That day, we happened to catch some good weather, so the boat crew decided to take us all the way to the Tasman Sea and man, was I green after that. Ginger is your best friend in those cases! Also, your note on driving is very true. It's either tourists forgetting to stay on the left hand side of the road, or it's commuting Kiwis who are used to that road so much that they start to get too relaxed. I've been overtaken by cars around the Coromandel and Cathedral Cove, where there are a lot of hairpin bends.

Thank you so much for reaching out and for the encouragement! I agree, I should have used some form of ginger. Motion sickness is the worst, haha! We did the overnight versus the bus tour because I knew all day on the road and then going onto the water wouldn't be a fun experience. That's one of the main reasons I always drive (to keep from getting motion sick). What area do you live in? Is it in the Coromandel area? That would be a dream area to live in!! So beautiful!
@emmae88573 жыл бұрын
@@AbbieandWiebe Ah fair enough, taking things in moderation is better if you're prone to motion sickness. I'm actually from the Hobbiton area of NZ, but I'm living overseas right now. The last time we went back home to visit, we went to Hahei for a couple of days so have experienced that winding journey!

There have been many fatal accidents from foreigners driving on the wrong side of the road, the arrows you see painted on the road frequently after one lane Bridges are there for that reason

I live in Auckland New Zealand and am a professional truck driver and it bad driving here in NZ but also there's the element of foreign drivers forgetting we drive on opposite sides and there has been a lot of crashes due to foreign drivers in the wrong lane as a mind slip. That's why you might have noticed the arrow and or keep left on your dashboard.
@AbbieandWiebe3 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah I can imagine. We were constantly reminding each other 'left side, stay left'. But after a week or so it wasn't bad.

It's usually Foreigners that cause the accidents on those roads,so many have been caught,and their keys taken off them for dangerous driving,and yes, i am going to point the finger,at Asians,because they have the highest statistics. I have seen videos of them drifting over the lanes,driving erratically and slowly,holding up other cars.
