Actualy if somebody is found to be insane which is very rare they are likely to be hospitalized for longer then they would have been in prison. Insanity is a bit overplayed in these movies.

Bailey Sairain.. did a video.. a man on a bus... stabbed a man like 100 times.. cut his head off.. ate some of him... he was already labeled crazy..prior to the murder.. he was off his meds.. so he did like 2 friggin years in a hospital..

The guy was diagnosed crazy a while 4 killing.. in court for murder.. he simply said he hadn't been taking his crazy pills.. I believe that people can be crazy.. multiple personalities.. that stuff. But if they are without a doubt guilty of murder.... then it's Life in Hospital or Jail..

But I still have a couple concerns… More so questions. 1: how did Aaron, or was he, pretending to play slow the whole time under the bishops wing just to eventually kill Him?? 2: when Aaron was doing the sexual acts with his gf, was he okay with it? Alter ego? What?.. I’m confused their.. 3: is the Linda gf dead? Cause In one of the scenes toward the end I swore he said he killed her? And I think that’s it. It might sound dumb but those my are questions…

1:Aaron reached a breaking point. He knew that the Bishop was making him do all of that stuff because he had nowhere else to go and at some point he had enough. 2:No he wasn’t okay with it. 3:Yeah he killed Linda. Don’t know why but i’m sure it had something to do with the tape. He claimed that he loved her but something went left. “Love hurts what can I say”

Have you watched the movie? Roy didn’t know that the Archbishop had a secret alarm which he activated during the attack. Roy didn’t think he would get caught so soon so had to come up with a plan in the short amount of time he had which ended up pretending he had undiagnosed DID. After what the Archbishop and other people involved had done to Roy and multiple other young people under their care they all got what was coming to them in my personal opinion as a victim myself of SA. Roy didn’t deserve to lose his own life for things that he had been put through his whole life starting with his father who had started SA him when Roy’s mom passed away, SA is all he’d ever known by people who he thought he could trust. How he went about getting away with his crimes was genius on his part. he knew he couldn’t outrun the cops so he decided to create Aaron and played the system to save his own life. He even admits that he had been wanting to tell his lawyer from the beginning that he was faking DID but didn’t want to hurt him as his lawyer had become protective of Aaron in the very last scene. This movie still goes down as having one of, if not the best twists in history, not one but two twists actually and the backlash that ensued in the aftermath because Edward was robbed during that years award season losing to Cuba in all of them is still a sore spot to this day. Everyone including people in the business all sided with Edward that he should have taken home the awards he was nominated for, and Cuba shouldn’t have won any because his character in Jerry Maguire was carried throughout that whole movie by Tom Cruise. This was Edwards first movie role and his audition tape went viral across the world in the entertainment industry before SM was even a thing. It’s a masterpiece and masterclass and is considered one of the best auditions of all time. I’m not sure if it’s been posted online but it’s on the DVD and everyone who has seen it including the media have said that they can’t believe nobody would even give Edward the time of day when he’s got acting skills that put a lot of veteran actors to shame. He was actually going to give up trying to become an actor until his friend told him to audition for the role and he agreed to go to one more audition which was for this movie and got the part straight away even though there was over 100 other actors who was waiting to audition for the role. Him and Richard helped create this movie including the script, how scenes should be acted out and filmed and even how it should end. So there was never an Aaron, Roy came up with the idea when he knew he wasn’t going to outrun the cops. He had no plan of getting caught in the first place and he probably wouldn’t have done if he’d known about the secret alarm and managed to stop the Archbishop from activating it. But if you watch the movie the amount of damage he managed to do in just a few minutes shows just how much he had been damaged from the lifetime of SA he received at the hands of multiple people starting with his own father just because his mom passed away, and how he just snapped when the Archbishop tried forcing himself onto Roy again. He’s only a kid in this movie. If I could have done something similar to all the people that harmed me in the same way I would have done without a seconds thought. It’s why I’m so protective over my own children now and I will do whatever I have to, to make sure that they never know what it feels like to live with that type of trauma!
