Hey man, I've got a question for you... Your kicks usually sound HUGE and that's a fact. Now, on the other hand, it's clearly visible in this video (when you play only kick) that it's clipping (going to the red), because you turn up it's volume a lot/boost it/do whatever so that it hits that hard; using soft clipper on your master, you avoid the overall clipping of the beat, e.g. everything that exceeds 0 dB is being clipped so that it does not exceed 0 dB. Now what would happen if you were to add vocals to this beat? I mean, if you were just to add them on top of all of this, in order for them to be loud enough, they'd probably go to the red too - in this case, soft clipper would do it's thing, but clipped vocals sound terrible, so yeah, you get my point. On the other hand, if you were to reduce the overall volume of the beat so that the vocals can be loud enough WITHOUT going to the red (and that way, without them being clipped), you'd lose the kick's sound - it would sound way worse than how it sounds now. So basically my question is what would be your way of managing kicks as hard as your, but with vocals going over the beat loud and clear enough (and without vocals being clipped, ofcourse)? Thanks in advance - sorry for such a long comment, but I tried to be as precise as I can.

you good lol it’s a learning process. personally i don’t actually use fl studio to mess wit vocals i use logic pro X. i export every sound in the beat exactly how it is in fl studio, then i drag and drop all the files i exported into logic they i jus turn the faders down and record sum vocals lol pretty easy you can do the same thing but i got like 30+ sounds in my beats it be getting complicated sometimes
