Great Informative video However I would like to clarify on one part; As such technically there is no separate AC wire & DC wire. In general the same wire can be used for AC or DC purpose. Due to a phenomenon known as skin effect, the AC resistance for the wire is more then DC resistance. So, for same current in AC & DC, AC system needs slightly more thicker conductor. Concept of Tinned Copper: Generally solar panels are installed in outside environment subject to solar heat, rain water etc. so copper conductors are dipped in zinc (galvanization process) to enhance its corrosion resistance property. So, all cables installations for open atmosphere/areas prone to high corrosion, use tinned copper.

just use thicker gauge cable for lower voltage system to eliminate heating issues or try to use higher voltage configuration... all cables are the same they carry a current... on grid solar systems operate at higher voltage and less current so difference is negligible...

These are the normal cables except insulation thickness. Normal cable available are up to .9mm to 1mm thickness and bare copper conductor (copper color) . You just need to ask for 1.2mm insulation thickness cables but conductor should be tinned coated copper (silver look color)

First, a high voltage of both forms current is very dangerous especially if we talk about Alternate Current 'cause of its sinewave nature as current changes the direction, therefore, the human body behaves as a capacitor allowing the current to pass through the body easily where DC is largely blocked by skin resistance *keratin*. Can you explain , how can we recover within 5 years ? Imagine you spend 3lakh for 5KW. So per year 60,000.That means we should be able to save 5000 rupees each month. If we count 5% interest minimum then for 3 lakh investment we should add another 15,000 per year. Unless we save 10,000 every month, this is not profitable. So our consumption should be around 1500 - 2000 units every month.
