Now would be a good time to look on the ground and dig out some little duplicate baby Maple Trees of the one you like so much, plant them into small containers until they're large enough to be planted where you want them. Then you can remove some unwanted trees in that wild area.

Jes, a fun landscaper trick is to take your garden hose and outline where you think you want a flower bed, a path, or your living flower river to be. Then you can look at it from various angles to see if it looks right. Prayers for your upcoming recording sessions! Have fun!

Nate-y is tall, strong and sweet. Leave the guy's butt out of it! Lol Looking forward to the river and the development of the hidden garden. This may be jumping the seasonal gun a little bit but have you ever considered cross country skis for surveying your property and garden planning through the winter? No skill required...just like walking and gliding down your inclines would be so fun! I don't have hour lovely spacious area but I make snowmen to get out in the winter sun which makes winter seem shorter and less onerous! X-country would keep you warm, too.
