As a soldier who has been to war, war is just stupid, wasteful and sad. The average people all over the world want the same thing, a good job, happy healthy family and peace. I see Russian people who look and act just like people I've seen all through my life. What is wrong with us humans? We need to evolve.

Russians have no Choice, and this War could habe been avoided many Times. but the Plan of the United States was to use Ucraine as a Battery Ram to bleed Russians. its a terrible thing, that United States cannot do anything different from War to dominate the World. and now they are so frustrated because Russia is winning the War. and there is no hope for the Poor ucranian Army,

As long as they are not a culture that wants to destroy every other culture then I can live with that. And I can enjoy their culture and would love to learn more about it. I live in the US and I so disagree with my Federal Gov. about who our enemies are and who they are not. It is the Middle East that I worry about, not Russia. Thank you for the videos. Life in a village in Russia seems similar to life in a small town in northern Wisconsin, USA. It is very rural up there and people have to be relatively quite self sufficient. My mother was raised up there and as a child she had to pick berries and fish to help feed her family. It is still similar today. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of jobs in northern Wisconsin and a lot are living off of government pensions and equivalents. I also liked how you kept in the clip of one of your grandparents that put all Americans into the same anti Russian group. That intellectual shortcut also exists with many in the USA in regards to Russians and Chinese. Of course they are wrong. If the official USA government stance is against Russia or China that doesn't mean all of the people in the USA are against the people of Russia or China or even most of them are. I blame the mainstream media because they are always writing stories in the context of "US does this, Russia does that, or China does those, when it is just some part of the government of that respective country doing those things. I also find being labeled as having the same opinion as the USA government offensive when I usually don't. Most people in the USA don't agree with the US government on most of the things that government does. It is true that the American's government has been anti Russian government. And that many have taken the intellectual shortcut handed to them by the mainstream media that all people in a country are the same as the government of that country. But your candid portrayals of everyday life in Russia present an irrefutable fact that people are people, they are not government policies. And that is likely quickly evident to nearly anyone seeing them.

Watching videos like yours from Russia where the young people of your generation are making such wise choices and decisions gives me hope for the possibility of World Peace someday. I'll be turning 65 years old in a few days. I was one of the hippies in the 60s and 70s that demonstrated in the streets for world peace here in America when I was your age. But alas, our government refused to listen to us. But unfortunately the percentage of us who lobbied for world peace was just too small to make any changes. But after seeing videos such as yours, and speaking to the young people here in America, I'm confident that one day soon, hopefully within my remaining lifetime, we will actually see World Peace. At 60, I remember some of the 60s. I remember two main things from the evening news: body counts from Viet Nam, and the stock market - both going up. For a long time I sympathized with the hippies and the peace movement, I guess I still do to a certain extent, but I also realize that idealism has also led us to the point we are at now: where people demand student loan forgiveness for a legal contract they entered into, where squatters take over homes and live free for months or years while the rightful owner struggles to stay solvent, where the government propagandizes everything to manipulate people. I don't know the solution for the US, we're the same people inside as the Russian villagers, but we have to get our government under control and that starts with taking the financial profit out of government service.

@@mandadick7093 We honestly should be angry at both Putin AND the western oligarchy... War is in their interest.. .sadly, that is the part that Marx (whose economical theory overall is quite bonkers, I read it and his ideas are impossible) was 100% right about - in war, money flows faster, technology is upgraded faster, and therefore capitalism thrives more than in long periods of peace- therefor it is an inseparable "quality" of capitalism, that it will create conditions to be exploited for launching wars. The last 3 months of Israels absolute massacre of Gazans is a brutal proof of the western double standard. If Russia did to Ukraine, what Israel did to Gaza, in proportion, all major cities, including Kyjev, Lvov etc. would be raised to the ground and half a million civilians would be dead and 35 million people would be displaced to an area of a large village, but without any infrastrucute (like Gazans are now in Al Mowasi, which is about 20x smaller than a large village and has NOTHING, no buildings, no water, no bathrooms, nothing), 90% of them starving and without medicine or clean water - in 3 months!! And yet not only do we not fight Izrael about it, we dont even put any sanctions on it, we dont even condemn it with words and the USA authorized ANOTHER batch of billions of dollars in bombs and weapons, that are being dropped on palestinian children right now. In Ukraine, about 600 children died so far in 2 years, which is an awful crime... Israel killed 9 000 children, in 3 months... in a population that is 20x smaller than Ukrainian... and people in the Czech republic, in majority of cases, are quite happy about it, many even say this is NOT enough.... I despise war, I though "the West" also despises war... how wrong I was. I was schocked and disgusted by Russias surprise attack on Ukraine. But now it is absolutely clear, that the USA lobbyists are absolutely ok with seeing hundreds of thousands of young lads die, as long as they can keep supplying their weapons, weakening Europe and Russia, and preparing to be another couple dozen billion dollars richer.

Greetings from the UK - as someone who’s father was a British sailor taking cargos to Russia in WW2 and met many very good Russians, please do not think all British people believe what our governments says about the Russians. The Russians are a warm generous people. If it hadn’t been for the huge sacrifices in blood made by Russia, people in the West would not live as they do now - believe in your Country - listen to your elders - they are the heart of Russia! ❤+ peace

It is great that you have such an uplifting attitude. I always wondered what life in Russia is like. I believe that before you give an opinion about people or governments in countries abroad. Here in the US, too many people are like sheep. They go in whatever direction the so-called leaders tell them to go. As a firefighter/paramedic I realized we are all pretty much same. We want to be happy, most don't want to hurt anyone else, and we love and are loved by the people close to us. Thank you for giving me insight about Russian people and how they live. Here in Wales, UK, the salaries are also a lot lower in the villages than in the cities, prices are rising rapidly without an increase in income. That seems to be a world wide problem at the moment. Thank you so very much for this video it's very hard to find the truth about Russia these days I live in America and I love my country very very much but the sanctions that we imposed on you guys are affecting us way worse than they're affecting you and that's so unfortunate our food prices over the last year have doubled and even tripled on some things there is no manufacturing of goods here in America anymore almost all of our goods come from China my grandfather worked in the factory for 30 years and he only receives $1000 a month for his retirement while the people down the street just built a house and are not even American citizens and each one gets $2400 a month and doesn't even work and gets free healthcare and free food and free everything there are men playing in women's sports and some think that men can even have children now I'm so sorry about what's happening to your young men and it's entirely our fault about what's happening in Ukraine we put zelenski in there trained and equipped his army and made them feel invincible and now there's over 500,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers and a million civilians dead 10s of thousands of young men with no arms and legs and now you can't even leave your house without worrying about being shot by somebody our police forces are almost empty we've gotten rid of most of our police and now crime is absolutely out of control we don't have the Russian soul here we used to call it patriotism but now you can't find a single American who's happy with living here anymore the only people that are happy are people that have jumped the border recently and now get everything for free I know it's very difficult for you to find real information on the West over there it's the same here it's videos like these that really help me to understand how good the Russian people are no one cares about our country and our people anymore and it's only going to get worse our news lies to us more than the Soviets ever did the propaganda is absolutely out of control and everyone is divided

Coming from someone who served in the military as a Lieutenant I can say that all armies generally recruit from rural regions. Rural people are more used to dealing with the elements like rain, mud, cold as they live simpler lives so the lack of comfort of the front will not affect their morale as much as they are much more stoic than city people. Another point is pure economic reasons, because city people are usually more educated so their GDP per capita output is disproportionately larger for the economy, for example, a doctor or an engineer takes at least 5 years to be trained and millions in school infrastructure investment if they are killed at the front the long term blow is very hard. This is a lesson Russia learned in the 90s when most of their educated population fled to the west during the crisis after the fall of the soviet union (something that was made by design by the Americans) this is pretty much why educated people when drafted will become officers and not grunts.
@neilreynolds3858
@neilreynolds3858 11 ай бұрын
True, but educated people from cities make the worst officers when they gain rank. The people in the Pentagon have almost never spent any time in the ranks where they were being shot at. You can't learn what war is like in school or in training or in map exercises - you have to see the Elephant yourself. Gen. Milley managed to get a CIB while serving as a staff weenie in an infantry brigade. If he deserves that, I deserve wings for being in an airborne division.

@@neilreynolds3858 I wouldn't be so decisive in my words as military theory is needed just as much as real experience is needed but generally speaking you are correct. This is what makes the Wagner Group so efficient btw, all the officers came from the bottom so to speak. The army must always be meritocratic and political promotions should be forbidden.

I’m watching your show right now… you are very sweet and so is your family too. My conclusion of the world and I’m going to be 70 in two years, is the people are generally nice, it’s our governments that causes wars and propaganda and hate towards each other. In America we are going through very hard time with our liberal dictator government that uses every excuse to take rights from us. The media paints Trump as a racist and so but he never took a dime to be president nor did he start a war. He worked with Putin to get rid of ISIS. Keep your beautiful attitude and your genuine niceness and you will succeed for more than you know. Moscow and St. Petersburg are the capitals of Russia. Life is quite different in these cities. It is not for nothing that most Russian people separate life in these two cities from life in the rest of Russia. It is radically different. In most cases, people who do not live in cities with a population of more than 1,000,000 people have a poor lifestyle. Sometimes, they can't even afford basic needs. For example, medicine. Pensioners are used to this kind of life, so they perceive their situation as absolutely normal. But almost all of them barely make ends meet. That is why even very old people plant potatoes in the spring. This helps them save some money during the winter. And that is very sad.

@@sosa_boss You wrote some nonsense! 😂 1. I studied in Moscow and lived in several different cities, life is different everywhere, but not radically. I bet you lived in less cities than I and even can’t compare 😂 You even don’t know, that both Moscow and Saint-Petersburg is not the most expensive cities in Russia. And not with highest salaries. North and Far East is most expensive and richest cities. 2. Medicine in Russia is free and regular people can afford for self medical level far above than regular people in rest world. If compare with western countries, it is level which have only upper middle class (minority). And you are mad, medicine _never_ represent basic needs, whole history of humankind it luxury, only communists proposed conception of so-called “medicine for mass”. Epidemic in 2020 perfectly demonstrated for comparison how in Western countries medicine is unavailable for regular people, in huge cities, like Chicago, there are less boxes/beds than even in small Russian towns 😂 You are like alien. Do you traveled? Do you know that in Latin America exist a lot of hospitals specially for US citizens because majority can’t afford for self medicine in US? Do you know that in Russia exist tourism for medical help, each year millions people came to Russia to get high quality and cheap medical help. For Russians it is just free. 3. You talk nonsense about potatoes 😂 I just opened online market (22 Oct 2023), 1 kg of potatoes in Moscow (one of the most expensive city) is ₽15. It means on average pension it is possibly to buy 1,2 ton of potatoes. With spouse it is already 2,4 tons of potatoes each month! Do you understand what nonsense you talk? 😂😂😂 Potatoes cost nothing and it is impossibly to save money when you growing potatoes at all. People plant misc stuff just for fun.

Surprisingly, the service and company providing it seem to have come up with a legitimately great idea!! And I think the app would actually help people who are trying to learn a new language! Everywhere I’ve ever been and everyone I’ve ever spoken with (who’s not from a native English speaking country) who has learned the English language outside of a formal setting, has told me they’ve done so with the help of watching either movies (for older people) or KZbin (for today’s generation)… Definitely an interesting (and unique) idea these guys came up with… Cheers. ✌️

yeah, watched some YT vids about medicine, now I consider myself of being capable to do heart transplants ... movies and YT may help to train the 'ear' - but how do you learn correct grammar or writing by YT? We already see the outcome of 'learning by google translate': (young) people en masse apply (literally 'translated') words that are non-existent in the original language. And if one would work through Shakespearean "Romeo and Juliet" using Cambridge Dict ? Sure, though, it is hard work - requiring 'effort' - unpopular in nowadays 'easy learning' of aleatoric nonsense ... Anyway , the 'modern civlisised west' is on a backflip towards Cro-Magnon age: hurga hurga f*ck f*ck ideocracy :(

Russia is a beautiful country that has been through so much throughout history, yet they have made such remarkable progress in every field! There's just so much to discover, the breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, the vibrant and wonderful culture, the warm, welcoming, helpful, and friendly community, and so much more! I wish Russia wasn't so misunderstood and people saw it in the better light that it deserves. Love to Russia from India 🇮🇳🫂🇷🇺

@aaravdalmia2362 Too bad that beautiful country has a corrupt government that can't handle what happened in 1991. Russia collapsed, provinces on the border got independent from the regime and became new countries. But Mr. P has to have those countries back as part of Russia and makes up dumb reasons to start a war. Hundreds of thousands of people die, all very unnecessary if you ask me. Of course there are normal people in Russia and it's not good they have to suffer too, at least not as much as the Ukrainians. They and also you have to rethink your sypathy for the government of Russia.

Love your videos. People are not the government in Russia or USA or anywhere else. Governments are just a few oligarchs running the world. And sacrifice the citizens that are just commodities to them. Corporate governance in all nations. You just have to follow the money. Nobody wants wars. Nobody. The poor are the ones who suffer in America , Russia etc etc. I wish you and your family all the best and a brighter future. Americans in general hate our government for what it does gere and all over the world. None of the common people want anything to do with the oligarchs all over the world. @AgentNesty Here in India also mostly people from villages join the army and protect our borders. Lack of better opportunities and lack of better education and guidance are the reason behind that. The city dwellers are not very much interested in joining the armed forces, as there are better and safer opportunities available to them. Since our economy has been doing better, there are plenty options available now for an adventurous life. Fighting and dying for one's country is not one of them. During previous generations people used to join army out of patriotism and adventure both. However, as we are the most populous nation and have one of the youngest population, our army still don't have to force or conscript youth for fighting. In fact, during the army recruitment drives youth from all across the region come as a crowd to the recruitment camps sometimes causing stampede and death of a few aspirants. So having a large population has its own benefit both from the point of view of the economy and the security. Now coming to the village life, like Russia people living in Indian villages also try to grow most of the things needed. They lead a self sufficient kind of life. Our population on the average have much lower per capita income then Russia. And I believe all the old and retired people in the villages (or even in cities) might not be getting even as comparable a pension as in Russia. But things are improving slowly. Our babushkas and dedushkas are equally loving. But watching the Russian vlogs I see that these people from Soviet times have a certain kind of equanimity in their approach to life. It seems these Soviet babushkas and dedushkas are a kind of Yogis.

I am a 60 year old American who lives a simple country (rural) life, much like your Grandparents. I have been following the Russia Ukraine issue for 8 to 10 years. Be assured, it is NOT Russia who caused this conflict and it was not Ukraine either. It was my country and it's corrupt leaders that forced this war upon your people. Your leader, Pres. Putin, actually went to great lengths trying to avoid this conflict and I (and many other Americans) have great admiration for him (and your people). Putin has brought your country from the post Soviet Union collapse to a much better place today and toward an even better place in the future. I am sure you cannot get the information that we can get here in the USA but you should feel happy for your future. War is BAD, it should be stopped and it will end. But your leaders cannot stop this war. Only the US and Western Europe can end this conflict. Pray it will be far sooner than later. I do!!!

Agent Nesty -- You are correct in your conclusion that prices for food, clothing, and fuel have been going up all around the world. Obviously, the general inflation is probably hurting Russians more than it hurts people in other countries due to the sanctions. I know those have created particular difficulties for Russians. I am an eighty year old man who retired from working on my seventieth birthday. My wife and I live in New York City, which is particularly expensive even by standard in the United States. However, I was fairly well paid when I was working so I have enough money to live pretty much as I choose and to travel and generally enjoy all the things that New York City has to offer. I very much want to compliment you on your English. Your English is very good, especially considering that you have essentially learned it online. I will continue to look for your videos, and I wish you all the best in your future.

Thank you for letting us see into your and your family's lives. Every country has propaganda and misinformation; however, we must first see each other as people. I was in the army stationed in Germany before the Berlin Wall came down. The training was always geared toward fighting the Soviet Army. Then Iraq invaded Kuwait, and I fought in the desert, not in Europe. I do not think governments really represent their people, yet it's the people who get sacrificed in war.
