Another bride who thinks the world revolves around her. The poor groom knocked himself out for her and was rewarded by that childish tantrum about where she would get dressed. In my opinion respect, understanding and compassion are just as important as love. Be careful who you commit to. It is no wonder so many marriages end in divorce.

When you have a bride who has mentally planned her wedding down to the last detail this type of scenario is not likely to work. One thing I never understand is why the grooms never seem to google what is needed to plan a wedding. This groom did.

Planning a wedding is the most emotional and expensive moment in a Bride’s life. This show Definitely challenges both the groom and Bride, but in all these cases it’s the groom who’s actions are on the chopping block. Anyone with a lick of sense can clearly see how most of these grooms are just not aware of what’s going on around them. Like listening to their “mates”!

Something that lowkey bothers me with some episodes is how when the brides make it very noticed how important their family church is to them but somehow the grooms just seem to have no clue how much it means to them... while I'm personally not religious myself even as the bride in the scenario, if it meant that much to my fiance to be married in a church that was important to him and his family it wouldn't even be a second thought to me; we would do it because of how much I love him.. you don't have to follow the faith or tradition yourself in order to be willing to respect it for your partner I just don't really get how you can be with someone for an extended period of time and not really know what is most important to them..

Much better than the price tag weddings, rich vs flat broke-but shows like this still point out how really mired we are in tradition, unbreakable pinings for what-was; not truly what is and based in the reality of our changing world. We think we are up-to-date and intuitive but it seems more and more we are disconnected because of our technology, and the dependence we have upon it. On one side as a woman, I can see tradition means different things to people, and that's all well and good. But how many times can the pricing for such old-fashioned and stiff-necked stubbornness really set a couple on a healthy road of relationship? As for the men, do they really give a rats rear end? No, they don't. That vision is set on the party. It has to be loud, it has to be rowdy, maybe a bit off-key to do some risque stuff, but really-it's a great reason for a party. Down the road, these couples will have some struggle to hammer out the everyday facts of lives blended together, and IMO, naturally, it won't be easy if they are trying to carry and still blame each other for not knowing their hopes and dreams. Reality is a double-suck, good and bad-and it's too bad for some that their take on reality is more what they see on tv, or read in glossy over-priced bridal mags that seem to inform them of their truth. Down at the bottom, money will always impart class and taste, which is never the truth they must live with. No wonder +50% of first marriages and +60% of second or more marriages end in divorce? With shows like this, we always say the woman is so petty or bratty, and in truth that does seem to be apparent, but the gentlemen are already pretty whipped and beaten down, it seems they'd agree to say yes, no matter what. Just stop boring them with the colors of ribbons, flowers, and candles. I said I'd marry you, so what's the problem?? Sad, sad society. We never seem to have enough.
@warriorprincessharmony2 жыл бұрын
100% true. Everything you said. A wedding should be a beautiful and special event. But people forget that it is the first day of the rest of your life as a unit, as a couple, before God and before The Law,... Shouldn't we be more prepared for a life of love and friendship together,... than be worrying about ribbons and lace? I mean, what kind of backward society is this?
