And then justify her being ran through as 'i didn't know better' or some sht, it is kinda unfair to the guy who really work and archived something.
Crying isn’t a feminine energy though . Crying is an emotional response to something that’s close to your heart .

@@letemcookshow Lol, wut? How do you take that with a pinch of salt? Do you even know in what context to use that phrase? Please don't do an episode on media literacy. In order to teach people about media literacy, you need to know what it is. This is just embarrasing.
This message is strictly to the lady that have asked that ignorant question from the hosts. I HOPE YOU READ THIS. It is deeply troubling to encounter such regressive views on gender roles and women's aspirations. The statement that women regret the progress toward gender equality and wish to revert to traditional roles of dependency is both dismissive and detrimental. And speak ONLY FOR YOURSELF PLEASE. Women have fought tirelessly for the rights and opportunities we have today, and to suggest that these advancements are a mistake is an affront to their struggle. And to the Male Host what i have to say to you is, the notion that working women are somehow "less feminine" or "less desirable" reflects a narrow, outdated mindset. Such attitudes not only undermine the achievements of countless women but also perpetuate harmful stereotypes. Women who choose to work are not merely adopting masculine traits; they are exercising their RIGHT to pursue their ambitions, contribute to society, be leaders in a world where we are heavily LACKING female leadership and achieve personal fulfillment! To suggest otherwise is a blatant disregard for the diverse and dynamic roles women play in the modern world. Furthermore, comming back to the ignorant lady that asked this question, advocating for a return to traditional gender roles fails to address the systemic issues that limit women's opportunities, including the disproportionate representation of women in leadership positions specially in our country Sri Lanka. These backward views are one of the sole reasons that have contributed to a cycle of underrepresentation and inequality, reinforcing outdated norms that hinder progress. Desiring to be a housewife is a personal choice which maybe you love, but it should not be used to disparage those women who find purpose and success in their careers. Such viewpoints not only ignore the hard work and dedication of working women but also mask a troubling reluctance to embrace the broader, more inclusive progress that benefits society as a whole! Women today are striving to be leaders, innovators, and contributors to societal progress. To undermine these efforts with outdated notions of gender roles is not only disrespectful but actively harmful. It is crucial to support and respect women's choices, whether they involve staying at home, working, or pursuing leadership roles, and to recognize that all these paths contribute to a richer, more equitable society. ALSO secure "men" do not have to strive to be "masculine", they just are! I am a young, educated, successful working woman, and a proud one so maybe educate yourself more before answering such questions and touching on sensitive topics out of your academic reach! Good Luck with this program! I enjoy this program but you've got lots to learn!

Masculinity has a range of attributes, including physical fitness and appearance. However, today's youth seem to be overly focused on just these two aspects. I believe social media has played a significant role in this shift. It’s easy to showcase fitness and appearance on platforms like Instagram or Facebook, whether by posting gym selfies or sharing workout videos. On the other hand, highlighting other qualities that define masculinity is not as straightforward.
With all due respect, yes there are men. No doubt in that. Habai oyage thathth hithanne nathuwa athi oya lollek kiyala. Gon aathal denna epa. Oyata Kawuruth mewa balanna kiwe nah.

Women have been told that their femininity is weak and pushed to be more masculine, while men have been told that their masculinity is too toxic and pushed to be more feminine. We have literally nullified these two different energies into a mix, and now relationships are more difficult because of that. There are no clear definitions or roles, and it has become extremely difficult for most people to build something solid.

thank you for your support 🙏🏻 the goal is to make the content accessible to as many Sri Lankans as possible. We tested out ‘english-only’ in our first 3 videos and it didn’t really work out from a reach perspective. Theres a case to be made that the content may not have been too good as well. But ever since we tested singlish, the performance has been significantly better! Hope that answers the question 🙂
