True but If the stones are lighter than water, they will float, and may be during the time of Ramayana, the salt content in the Indian Ocean got unexpectedly high, the same way that the Salt content of the Arabian sea got very low, in 2006, so it is very possible the stones may have floated not due to magic but an unexpected change in the environment.

This is because that stones are silicates air is filled inside it ex ice it floats on water
