There is a certain area here in GA where cops really do sit at the end of the road and let people street race.. The closed it down after someone died, but 2 months later it was back to normal with the cops at both ends letting people do what they do.. May be hard to believe, but it's true

There's something to be said for this kind of comparison. Depending on the speed range it could help clarify the likely winner on certain tracks. At least for the guys who cant just adjust their gearing at the track for the track.

I am pretty sure the Street Outlaw cars are mostly doing 8's in a quarter mile.. maybe faster... so for the most part I don't mind watching them run in a closed environment seeing if they can hook on the street with 2K hp or so. Maybe High-tech Corvette should challenge some of the guys from OKC.

I used to street 40 something years ago and every body raced what they drove we were not near as fast as those things on outlaws but that's because these were daily drivers and had to pass the state inspection so most were stock motors

roll racing are for stock factory racers that have zero torque power incapable of moving any type of street slicks. if an attempt to make these rollers run a street drag race on hot radial tires they would surely would bog down. but this is what real street racing has come to. no more muscle cars coming out of Detroit and no more street racing mechanics. today you buy a factory turbo car bolt on what ever garbage the driver might think will give it more horse power find a long highway and floor it and call it a street race..

Look up bigrob3232 or dozerdan11. Its got all them okc boys before they got a tv show doing all kinds of street racing. Cash days is a huge one. Thats been goin on for some time now. There aint no reason for yall to be haters. They got a chance to have their own tv show and put themselves out there. Not everyone can take that chance of getting caught street racing. Some peoples careers depend on there driving record. Me personally have WAAAAAAY too much invested in my truck and my job to just throw it away street racing. It makes for a real good time but were not back in the 70's or 80's. Times have changed and consequences are worse
