Mitch, for cleanups like this, which don't require much effort compared to other cars, this real-time pacing is perfect. For things like smoker's cars, repos that haven't had much love, or abandoned cars, the hyper-lapse format is good for them, as going real-time with THOSE cleanups would probably run those videos over an hour. Hope this message finds you good and safe.

SHOWROOM NEW in only 9 hours. Thanks for addressing the silliness of people thinking you add dirt to vehicles. All you have to do is visit the country roads in Canadian suburbs to understand where all the mud and muck comes from. The undercarriage sprayer dropping off made me laugh out loud. I wonder if a wreath or bough of pine wasn't transported in the back where the needles were found? The interior of this giant SUV is so beautiful, and cleaned up so well. All those screens and glass surfaces sure fit with your glass cleaner and the waffle weave towels. Thanks for making this "real time" version. I very much enjoyed it. Have a great weekend and thanks for the Friday lift. 💜

@@Cook66 Certainly a fair question. He stated that it was only found in a small section of the tailgate area like it was a small pine tree. So that's why I thought wreath or bough. Although it could have been a "Charlie Brown" style tree. Laughing now.

Thanks - I really, really value real-time footage. I detail my car and cars of loved ones as a thing on the spectrum between a household chore and a hobby. I don't do it enough to have a ton of muscle memory on how to hold and move the tools. Real-time footage is thus really helpful to soak in stuff like how far you hold the pressure lance from the exterior on the pre-rinse, as well as how quickly you move the extractor tool when cleaning carpets.

Hi Mitch, I have never commented on your videos before but I thought I would on this one. I really enjoyed this format better than the speeded up versions because it shows just how much work that we detailers put into each and every customers vehicle while they are comfy having a cup of coffee haha. But seriously I am a detailer (valeter) from England UK But I trained in the US. Your channel inspired me to quit my fulltime job working in a factory and to do what I really love which is cleaning vehicles. So I started my own business and have now just past my 1st years anniversary. So I wish to thank you for your inspiration even though you don't know me. I watch all your videos and really like your work. Keep up the good work and keep posting. Steve.

I do like the real-time videos as well. It gave the video a bit of a softer feel. @MatthewAngell-tw9ez10 күн бұрын
@@erikarois Isn't though? My lack of self discipline is when a chunk of mud falls off, my habit is to stop spraying the car and spray the chunk towards the drain, then go back to the car. Mostly that's so I don't track it all over.

I would recommend winter tires. I'm on my 8th AWD car and have had winter tires ever since I almost rear ended a pickup on all seasons. Pick some wheels and tires on Tire Rack. They'll mount and balance them and ready to install when you get them. Go minus 1 size from you stock size, if you can, so you have a bigger side wall to deal with potholes.

Nice video Mitch. I really appreciated you showing some of the steps you don't usually show - particularly the dashboard detailing. That is the part the client looks at more than anything else. And your commentary was spot on. But to be honest, I watch all of your videos at double speed anyways, so the "real time" aspect was not as important to me. Your "compressed time" videos actually show more of the detail being done, so I think I prefer those. Keep up the great work!

I want to finish the job quickly, but seeing the pace you are going, makes me understand that o got to slow down. And with the cuts you’re using, we still can see everything that we need to see. For simpler jobs, real time is the way to go I think. But for extremely dirty car, I would do a mixe of realtime and speed up time. So we can see everything. Good job love your channel.
