Hey, I have some unsolicited but solid advice because I think you’re a good but somewhat misguided person (in dating). I do hope this helps. One, you have to focus on you first, whatever this means to you: spirituality, health & wellness, productive hobbies, family, etc. people want someone who is complete, stable, confident (a partner, not a project). When you feel confident and whole you exude this energy. Second, focus on meeting people, new experiences and fun when dating, if that person isn’t bring those elements to the date, let them go (i.e., don’t let them bring you stress with wishy washy behavior, ignore that behavior, move on). Third, a maybe is a yes, do not look for the butterflies as the only way you will say yes- some say this is ultimately a warning system to avoid, but don’t turn down good guys because you don’t have a spark, this is some Hollywood nonsense you need to really get to know this person until they are a no (or hopefully a yes). I know this wasn’t the ‘nicest’, but it is coming from a kind place of someone who has been through it. Good luck ❤

i always had a rule, pretend like it's a robot until you meet in person and always talk to more than one person if possible not to get any hopes up. the one that stuck i was just so upset about constant ghosting that i asked to meet for coffee that day after work instead of waiting so i knew at least i could eliminate him quickly 😂

This is the kind of advice that keeps women single. How many men treat women like queens? Like 1%? So if every woman wants this 1% guy then why does she "Deserve" to get him rather and any of the 99 women around? If every woman "deserves" the top guy then none of them get him because he never has to commit to anyone. If you really want a partner then you have to ask your guy friends (because all your women friends will lie to you like this woman) how you rate; then you stop trying to date up and find someone on your level, as long as you're trying to date up your going to end up being disappointed. You cute and guys will go out with you because your fun, but why should a guy settle for a short overweight 40+ woman? If a man Can treat you like a Queen, then why would he Settle for Less than a Queen? Women keep forgetting the relationships are a TWO way street and unless you also give something to a relationship you're not going to keep it. Remember that we don't live in Fairytale's, we live in the real world where women file for divorce 80% of the time because they aren't "happy" and spend the rest of their lives miserable because it's not like TV where someone better looking are richer comes along.

There is someone out there for her, but until she gives up the fairytale fantasy that some Greek God is going to come along and wife her up this channel will continue. I was excited with you and was waiting on date details, so this sucks. I’ve done the “of course this didn’t happen” thing so try not to go down that road like you shouldn’t expect something good to happen. I hate I fall into that trap. It feels like things go so fast when you meet someone. I’ve had that and I’ve seen it mainly with other people. They are looking so hard and then one day they meet someone and the next thing I know they are moving in together and are engaged. I’ve seen that with friends several times. Forget dating and focus on getting healthy, get down to a healthy weight. Then after that's in place, you can worry about dating, but by then you might be beating men off with a stick. There's no way around the pink elephant in the room, it needs to be adressed. I was obese and now I'm skinny and that's what happened to me. Don't let women tell you that you don't need to lose weight, it's not their old age getting ruined, it's yours, if you don't take this issue seriously. Ask yourself what the men want, I mean the men that you want! Try to become what they want, it's very simple. Losing weight is simple and staying skinny after that is so simple, it's just hard work that never ends. But then you might have the man you want. Make the choise.

Because she keeps swiping on the good-looking guys who everyone swipes on and they have lots of options. If your going after the 1% guy and he has 99 other options why is he choosing the overweight 40+ women? Sure she is cute and funny, but for the guy with options that is not making her the best one.
