this is my take! i agree with you not wanting to settle and even if ppl say "oh your standards are too high" or whatever, in the end...do you want to be with someone who lowered their standards to be with you? probably not! you want to like each other equally :) but for me, im also okay with being single if i can't get what i want. so i guess that's the other edge of the sword. either im single or im able to find someone who also likes me just as much :)

Hugs your not alone. It ticks me off. Men will use you as a placeholder until they find someone they really want to commit with. They have options, they have their phone… they use you so they are not alone all while cultivating a possible relationship with someone else. They will then ghost you or say they are in a relationship now because they were developing that relationship when they were with you. You just did not know this. They kept that part secret.

Forget dating and focus on getting healthy, get down to a healthy weight. Then after that's in place, you can worry about dating, but by then you might be beating men off with a stick. There's no way around the pink elephant in the room, it needs to be adressed. I was obese and now I'm skinny and that's what happened to me. Don't let women tell you that you don't need to lose weight, it's not their old age getting ruined, it's yours, if you don't take this issue seriously. Ask yourself what the men want, I mean the men that you want! Try to become what they want, it's very simple. Losing weight is simple and staying skinny after that is so simple, it's just hard work that never ends. But then you might have the man you want. Make the choise.

Ashley honey, first of all big hugs. Second Thing please listen to older virtual stranger who wishes nothing but happiness and health for you. If man does not comfirm time and place prior to date day please consider ot a big fat maybe question mark. If he's interested in meeting you HE WILL confirm in advance or very early on the day Don't hang around waiting, don't send prompt messages questioning. If he will go MIA and then text you really late in the evening either ignore or tell him you have plans. This is the only way. I know it's hard but do you really want to meet a man that is so rude to you by disrespecting your time so freely? Answer is no. You deserve better. Much love from Poland

I think that as a plus size we can love whoever we want but its obvious that man do that too , we usually go for the "hot" more fitted guy because they are attractive, the attraction has to be there so we don't need to lose weight to get a man but for ourselves , loving ourselves mean to take care of our bodies too

I would love to see “Get ready with me” videos before dates. I always like seeing how they do their makeup and they show their outfits before the date. They show the makeup products they use and talk about their thoughts before the date.❤

I love ur channel and i also struggle with dating because i have high standards, but we need to understand that we can be all beautiful inside but man also have high standards and we need to take care of ourselves and check our weight also for our health and to feel better, just like we want "hot guys" they want hot girls, but like u said the "hot" girl or man can look very different for everyone

I met someone on a dating app and went on a few dates with him. He called me on the way out the door one evening and I asked to call him back because I was about to hang out with friends. I said something that indicated that one of my friends (just friend) was male. The guy I went a few dates with went silent for a few days and then sent me an unhinged message about only wanting to date someone who is serious and not wanting to see me again. There was a lot of imagination involved in this message 😅 it definitely hurt to be accused of something but in the end definitely glad he took himself out to the trash for me.

Honey, sweatheart your soul is angelic and please please please remember not all humans ( men or women ) are angelic majority who live in USA are mammon humans due to culture. Stop putting your soul through this trauma and get into meetings like (coda and acoa for about 1 year straight ) your LS in the brain will recognize this demonic creatures from 3-5 min of talking to them. It's called the 80/20 rule. That is that 20% of the men get attention from 80% of women. So you still single because you're a 5 that is messaging 8-9s who would never settle for you. Until you start to "settle" for the men that would be happy to have a relationship with you you will keep having these stories because you're messaging men who can do better then you because they have options, they are just messaging you just because you could be an easy option some time.

I've been on Tinder for 5 year and matched with the 200 women and only met 2 while I was out of state on a work trip. So if you're in Vegas just know that none of the women on Tinder are real. Bumble is the only app that has lead to any real meetings.

@@ashalia11 If you think dating as a woman is hard then you just haven't talked to man men. 50% of men are invisible to women and 40% can't keep a relationship going because women have such high standards and money demands that they fall apart too. Only 10% of men have it easy and if you look at how many men in Hollywood still get divorced with everything going for them it's no wonder that so many men have given up. Dating for women is only hard because they only want to date up, so the man must date down, any why should anyone settle for dating down when you can hold out for someone on your level. How about YOU try dating down, there is nothing more loyal than a man who thinks he is dating up.

Women over 40 and not in good shape need to either: 1. Share men they see as reasonably attractive (non monogamy), or 2. Date a man 10-15 years older who isnt in great shape. As a dude, I sincerely don't understand why middle aged women can't grasp reality.

When a guy has a mostly blank profile it's one of three reasons. 1st is the guy just wants to smash. probably most likely. 2nd is he is resigned, has low expectations for this, so he isn't bothering to put a lot of effort in. Least likely. 3rd reason is the profile likely belongs to a scammer or weirdo.

@@ashalia11 I get it. Trust me, there is a lot of that from both ends of the dating pool. It is stupid but I've seen even dumber shit than that on dating sites. Honestly dating sites suck. Even if I was trying to find someone I wouldn't use a dating site. Their business model is reliant on people being single. They don't really want you to find love and delete the app.

@@ashalia11 I won't try to dissuade you from trying. I know that there are some decent guys on dating apps. You might need to work on your vetting process and your expectations a bit though. I used to use dating apps and while I'm no catch, I am over 6 ft, work out daily, have a job, all my hair, and can hold a conversation. I am also pretty reserved and won't get sexual or inappropriate right away. Despite this I had very very little success on dating apps. The few matches I got were with women who were obviously incompatible with my lifestyle and they were the ones who got inappropriate in the conversation fast. I had one woman open with a confession that she has herpes and if that meant I wouldn't sleep with her unprotected it would be a problem. Literally her 2nd message to me. WTF? My takeaway is that 99% of people on dating apps are trash. Finding the needle in a haystack is pretty unlikely IMO. I have completely given up on dating. I won't even look at a woman in public, let alone approach her. Now my focus is on my health and fitness, my kids, and my mental wellbeing. Pursuing a relationship with a woman is too much risk, a massive amount of effort, pretty much zero reward.
