Something that you did fail to mention was how reliable and tough these vehicles are. They aren't designed for the city, but have luxurious features and refinement that you'd find in a Mercedes-Benz, for example.

Ive just turned 23, and i have been saving up to buy a Land Cruiser, i still have some time before i can finally stop by a dealer and buy a Land Cruiser, when i hear there planning to make a hybrid version it just makes me sad. I wanted to own this jeep since i was 13. I hope they never do a hybrid and always keep chasis and body seprate, thats why people like them, rugidness, realiability , confidence to point at any hill ! Good day sir

In the U.S., if you want to have full featured Land Cruiser, you need to buy Lexus LX570. For US market, they removed some good features from Land Cruiser to differentiate LX570.

I remember my family 1999 land cruizer best car ever and i have been in many luxury cars 5 series bimmers mercedes G wagons and the 85k range rover yet for some reason i find the land Cruiser much nicer, sadly my family sold after 13 years of going all over the country one hell of a car and totally worth 80K

its still more reliable than the Audi and Range Rover combined. and it holds its value like nothing you have seen before. there are some 2008 Lexus LX570s(rebadged Land Cruiser) that still are in the $60k range.

I know all of you are thinking "80 grand, hell no" but guys trust me the car is worth the price. It is really luxurious and comfy. It can handle just about anything you can throw at it. It never breaks and it the cars quality itself is amazing.

In Russia, I bought the TLC 200 for $ 110,000 (and we go to Russia without equipment hatch and air suspension instead of the winter package) is very pleased with the car and I do not care what I have a plastic, for me, is more important than reliability which can not boast of the other manufacturers.

I know that many people use these as city vehicles especially in the Lexus variant but I just don't get it. This is a serious offroader that cleans up well. I've not driven the current version but based on the previous versions I would make this my vehicle of choice for everything other than a commuter car. It's just a beast.

I think that toyota needs to rethink their pricing and trim levels for both the Sequoia and Land Cruiser. They both basicly have the sane features, can tow the same amount, the Sequoia is larger, but more fuel efficient, and cheaper. Its a wonder why the Land Cruiser isn't selling well.

Absence if H2 on the dial is not a down side - learn how different 4wd systems work before you say that about LC. What about KDSS, the type of 4wd, body on frame, over engineered parts to compensate for off road abuse, aftermarket support. Like another comment said here this is what happens when LC gets reviewed by a Prius owner.

for the record, in middle east the sandy roads and hills are the real exam for the SUV cars, well our experience say that there are only Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol cars can overcome to this challenge and no fucking German car was able to walk in these roads you can check this on youtube

A Hybrid powertrain would not be appropriate for this beast, Toyota should give it a Diesel Engine instead. I have the LC series 80 turbo diesel 6 cyl in-line and its still kicking ass! 30 mpg on the highway...Diesel is king! 4x4 Hybrids suck dicks!!!
