Looked like they had turned south on course already. EO sid goes north I believe. Would have been weird to try and reverse turn to get back on that from an unknown point on their current course. Vectors would have been much easier. EO sid is good for a loss of engine on takeoff roll to give you something safe to fly before you can coordinate with ATC. Once airborne and on course, you can’t just try to get back on it from some random point.

as a (totally qualified to answer this /hj) AS3 on ivao i can confirm that that was stupid - immediately get them into a safe situation and then get souls on board, fuel available, and hazmat

Was this guy James Bond or something? 😂😂😂 if you didn't understand English and aviation talk you would have no idea a mayday has been declared, local police, firemen, hospitals are getting prepped for a possible disaster, that there might be about to be a huge fireball of death and so on 😜😂😂😂 "Hello tower, I see dead people, altitude -10, what is visibility? flight six five oh"
