When the skeletons die in the day time they form a pile of bones, and at night the bones come back together, as well as new skeletons spawning in. You can predict where at least some skeletons will appear from that

Yeah I don't understand how he didn't see them. There's nothing on the map! It's a completely blank space except for the obvious sleeping skeleton.

Yep, it would also seem that skeletons don't spawn near buildings. Only wake up near them.

Is it possible to have the people go in the houses at night? It seems a bit odd that they don't sleep and have to spend the entire night running from skeletons. Or maybe collect the bones during the day and use them as a resource?

Try to trap the skeletons with the fence. You see where the skeletons are during the day, so you can build around them, then have your people stand around and shoot them.

If you can get the undead architects to die in a pile you can make a cage with the walls during the day, so you have a skeleton pen. If you kill them they respawn, but if you get them in a pen you’re all set.

I've played this game before and found it can be very fun. A couple warnings for later on though... 1. Skeletons which die right next to a closed gate can occasionally spawn the next night inside the gate. 2. If you enclose an area with walls, new skeletons can still spawn inside the walls if the buildings aren't close enough. These bugs might have been patched since the last time I played it, but I doubt it...

I think a lot of sokpop games are like this, you're not supposed to have long intricate saves usually as they want to encourage failing and trying again not from the beginning but with your new knowledge. It's why they have very minimal tutorials at most, it's why they can make such a high volume of games, and it's why there's no pausing

I've never actually beaten the game, but I have it and have attempted many times. The objective is to build the pyramid before the asteroid destroys the world. Very challenging little game, without feeling impossible (despite me literally never completing it haha)

Does the asteroid arrive at a fixed time? Or is it affected by how fast you progress?

@@adrianthoroughgood1191 it is fixed, as far as I've noticed. You get the progress bar and it will always arrive on day 36ish (don't remember exactly, but it's always the same). But the warning bar doesn't appear until you meet the alien. If you wait, it will just be closer when you meet him, so it's better to find him to get an extra worker.

Just a note on the hay and straw situation for both you and the devs. Hay is basically dried grass and mostly used for feed for animals. Straw is basically the stalks and remnants of a grain crop like wheat and often used for bedding for animals, but also for construction of roofs and such throughout history. So don't be an architect and try to build a roof out of hay....
