He was a recording country singer. He lost his contract when he walked halfway across the country to help provide support and awareness for foster kids who age out of it and often become homeless, like him. He wrote a beautiful, terrifying book about his childhood, and up to the time he was released from his recording studio. The book is called Walk to Beautiful... One of the best, and the most heartbreaking book I've ever read.

It's as if it was meant for him to bring the best version of this song in the grand scheme of things in the Universe!! As Jimmy says " I believed in it so much cuz it was such a GREAT SONG!"!
