Band-Maid has always been at a different level: they're always upping their game, continuously working out how they can improve their Okyu-ji, and their stringing 'Dice' into 'Hate? and inserting a MISA / Kanami bass / guitar duel into it was pure high energy genius. When repeated later in the tour Miku & Saiki were horsing around with Akane during the duel. They know how to have fun and they let the audience in on the joke.

The act up before them was a DJ. The camera guys were like, "Ok just park the cameras on this guy and lets go get a bite to eat." Then Band Maid comes on and the camera guys are like "Crap, solos! Quick get on the guitar player! Wait, it's the other guitar! No, it's the bass! Aww to hell with it. Just get on the drummer. She's killing it too!"

After watching so many live videos of them I finally got to see them live in Denver. I thought I knew what I was in for but it wasn't even close. They sound so amazing live. During Screaming you could see the tendons on Saiki's next straining as she was going hard on the vocals. They were all great. I was tempted to call in sick for work the next day and drive to SLC to see them again. 😊

The Audio sounds so much better, thanks. A few things, They kill Dice nowadays, the transition gives me goosebumps and Hate? is a flipping awesome song however they play it. They've created another rod for their own back though, I'll forever hear these songs together in my head, same as Manners and Black Hole

Great shots of Mincho mode, what an amazing instrumental break on Hate, my favorite song ( well for now- it changes by the minute ). Saiki has morphed into the best frontperson, man she has really " Just Brought It" , she is mesmerizing. Miku, always with her great vocals and energy, now she is a very good rhythm guitarist, adds so much to the overall mix, they are a true five piece band. Akane, Misa, and Kanami I have no more words, I have run out of superlatives, they are simply the very best at their positions ( Kanami as lead guitar AND music creator/director, taken together ). I'll wager there was no one else at Lollapalooza with as hot a set as BM they are "Flying High" right now coming into their own. Remember, ladies, World Domination wasn't built in a day.

Just got done watching a slew of ' 70's live concert videos. Then I switched over to this for the umpteenth time... DAMN...If most of those acts could teleport to this concert they would surely evacuate their bowels at what they were seeing and hearing ! Bandmaid made a great JOB! I am proud of BANDMAID as one Japanese peaple, (I am a 67 old Japanese man!), KANAMI, AKANE, SAIKI, KIMU, MISA are all so talented, they studied music theory and they can play the piiano at least. They are new and brandnew female, who recently appear in Japan suddenlly, when I became and fall into fan from their appearance and I was very glad.

I am American and I understand your pride in this band! I'm 60 and thought that rock was dead or at least on life support. And then 6.5 years ago, I found Band Maid by accident. I wasn't looking for them, I didn't even know they existed. 30 seconds into "Thrill" I was hooked! Mind blown, life just got a whole lot better! There is no better band on the planet! Fuck yeah BAND MAID Po! Thank you Japan for this amazing gift!

Somehow I've ended up watching this every day, sometimes multiple times, since it happened a month ago. I can't get enough of this performance...and then they brought the same energy through the rest of their tour. I know the rest of the world wants to see this band too, but still, I hope they come back sometime soon to the US!

It's an unmatched performance. I saw them debut this version guitar duel the night before at the Lollapalooza Thursday night "aftershow" concert. I've seen them twice and both times songs I would have said were among the least excited for on paper ended up being the best songs of the night and I get addicted to them. I don't think the studio track of Hate would have made my top 50 BM studio tracks. The live version? I've watched this video one way or another over 100 times. You truly can't judge and appreciate a song of theirs until you see what it is live.
