As a Vietnamese, it's a pleasure for me to see a whole different story about the Vietnam War. Not about guns, deaths, just simple stories of everyday life of an American soldier during his time. We both suffered irreplaceable loss during the War. But that's how we embrace and shake our hands together to protect the peace we have today. My grand-uncle was a former NVA Soldier (PVA), on his deathbed told me that the only victim of war is the people. It took me a lot of time to understand. Salute!!!!

My dad was a door gunner in the 1st Air Cav Oct 67-68 in the 2nd of the 20th Arial Rocket Artillery (ARA). I'm very fortunate that he spoke freely to me about his tour. I've followed Michael for a long time now and am truly thankful for his account. It helps me fill in the missing pieces in understanding the war that he and my father fought in. He his a brilliant writer, and is so good at speaking with authenticity that brings clarity to such a murky time in history to me and my generation. It was great to see you get a chance to spend some time with him and I thought you did a great job with the video production as well. All the best to you and yours.

Great job! Michael ( Indiana Jones LOL) is becoming a star. Two great features. I highly recommend watching his documentary and visiting his Instagram account. Through him I've learned that not all Vietnam Vets are the Hollywood stereotype PTSD haunted men. I say that with respect to all.
