PMDG aircraft always look they’ve never flown, or had bird crap on them. Very unrealistic to me, you can tell it’s a Simulator and not real.

My target now is to attract more audience which is new in flight sims and dont yet know names like "Prepar3D", "PMDG" etc. So this is just my experiments to learn how title and other things affect the statistic (impressions, click-through rate, retention etc)

Just amazing, Max. Do you use ChasePlane replay to play back your flights for recording? That's what I've been doing and I've found so many quirks that make it tough to record...like rudders fluttering, wing flex not working on the PMDG 747, etc. Hoping you have a good tip to help a fella out. Your videos are what I strive for mine to be!

Thank you! I do not use ChasePlane or any replay. The only time i used here is 737 in the first seconds and as you see it looks laggy a little. Same problems i had with pmdg 747 as you said. It's all recorded without replay, i was controlling the aircraft and filming. Takes a lot of time because i have to restart the scenario to film different views but I got the best result this way.

I have the same setup and usually only get 20-30 fps in FSX/P3D with no addons, most of these people record in slow motion and then render the video in 60fps to make it appear as if they are getting 60fps, good technique but don't be fooled, they are probably getting like 10-15 fps in-game. I wish the game could run that well but it's just not optimized well, unless there is something I am missing. Regardless, fantastic video.

I always thought that for a flight sim to be realistic you should be able to walk thru the plane, and even get out: check exterior stuff and see that everything is Ok (for example, if been on a C172, to check the flaps, landing gear, etc), go around to better-know the plane that you are going to fly, etc...

No one is stopping you from doing a exterior walk-around. We've seen it done in many other vids. The OP decided that it wasn't necessary to include that, I guess. It's a fine balancing act making a YT vid that is not too long yet interesting enough to hold one's attention. If you want realism, watch some of the full flight videos people are uploading to YT and enjoy 11+ hours of long haul, unmitigated boredom watching the view outside the window even at night when all one can see is the ceaseless flashing of the strobe. Personally, I think this was a great attempt at showcasing how far flight simulation has progressed from the early days of subLogic 😎
