Niche Superhero, man who tragically lost hearing in an accident, but somehow retained balance. He's a martial artist of some sort, and the worlds ONLY supervillain has powers related to speaking - kinda like Purple Man, he controls minds through speech. Being deaf, and also a skilled fighter, deaf martial artist is perfectly suited to fighting this otherwise deadly menace. Actually, in a more super-heavy universe, go a slightly comedy route, where the deaf dude springs into action just as a Wonder Woman type arrives, manages to fight off the thugs and take out our villain. Wonder Woman type walks up to him, taps his shoulder(like in the film he reads lips) and says "You want a job?" He's hired by the equivalent Justice League to handle this guy and any similar situations where a man who cannot hear - but can fight with great skill - is actually useful. The League kinda has their hands full, so hiring smaller niche superheros saves them time, so they can focus on giant alien menaces and such without having to worry about people being killed or robbed by smaller, but still significant, menaces. You could make a comedy or semi-serious hero out of this guy.

There has actually been two canon crossovers, Green Lantern/Silver Surfer and JLA/Avengers. The others are all non-canon. BUT there are parallel universes in both Marvel and DC containing characters extremely similar to their counterparts. It's ironic how the only one who doesn't care about the death is the flash parody. At the time of making this video the flash was still dead as a result of the infinitte crisis. I think DC should've stopped writing Superman comics/bringing him back to life, it might've been fresh to see how the whole DCU would react to this. Like, let's say 2 years have passed, some may still be griefing, some may see a lesson in all of this, mentioning his death as a reference, oh look, villains are kinda sad about it (nah). The point I'm trying to make is that they didn't kill off the most popular superhero and made it stay that way for so long, but would you want them to? Don't you guys want to know how other characters would react over his death after a long time? How long would it take for people to start talking about it in a casual conversation? How would other superheroes be like now? So many questions... Oh, plus his comeback would have been awesome!

Have you ever read the "Doomsday" arc? Because that was the whole point of it, though I do see your point in keeping him dead. The thing is that that was the intended end for the "Doomsday" arc, it's just that no matter how many times this happens the bosses of the writers force them to bring them back to life in some way. The sad part of it is that it's all the fan's fault. Stories become increasingly popular with new readers and the old readers are force to read about the same heroes and villains over and over again because the new readers only know the old ones so when they see something change they go crazy and complain forcing the writers to ga back to the original and nothing ever really changes.

I'm not sure if Peter is ever going to get his body back. It looks like they want to keep going with Otto in Peters body. That's by the way the whole problem I have with this new comic. That Peter got such an undeserving "death". The comic itself isn't bad and I like some of the new elements and the way Otto aproaches things and bends the laws in his favour to enforce justice. I also like Ottos love interest.
