jtm0821 Superman is as fast as Jay Garrick Flash. They have both stated that. Superman is a statue frozen in time to Bart, Barry and Wally. Both Bart and Barry are frozen in time to Wally. In Human Race storyline, where Earth had to take part in a running contest where defeat meant death to the planet. Wally West as The Flash was chosen by everybody. In Rebirth when Superman tried to stop Barry, Barry stated that he has been holding back all the time because they ran for charity. Then dusts Superman with ease. Superman can fly a little faster than light. Wally can run trillions of times faster than light and has done that consistently. Superman can only think in Nanoseconds, he has stated he can measure time between Nanoseconds, but never shown to do it. Wally West as The Flash ran from Earth to Moon in planck time. Planck time to a Nanosecond would be in scale longer than our Universe has existed.

luis nunez My little was like at least 100xFTL. I was just comparing that little to Flash who is trillions of times faster than light. Superman has flown millions of times FTL too, but those are inconsistent feats, since he rarely goes more then 100xFTL. In New 52 though, he went over 600xFTL with Pluto to Earth feat, that's pretty sick for him so fast. Barry still faster though in New 52.

Jeremy Lira Time is an abstract concept. Time doesn't stop when you go faster than light, time doesn't exist in fundamental forces of the universe. According to Einstein's theory of relativity you can't go faster than light because anything with mass can't attain the speed of light. But that is a very weak theory wit no proof of what so ever. I don't need to look things up, I finished elementary school physics.

This is a huge reason of why I like the Warner Premiere movies, anytime batman meets superman, he might attack him for a minute or two, but then quickly tries to reason with him so that superman doesn't beat him to dust. The characters are extremely self-aware of their limitations.

Yeah, it's to the point I don't even like Batman anymore. They godmoded him. Just found out that he can now apparently tell a person's blood pressure just by looking at them and see if they're lying. And I know you're comment is a couple of years old, but it's always nice to see someone not worshipping at the altar of Batman. All of his crap takes away from him as a character. My uncle is an age old Batman fan. Read comics from he was a kid. He always cringes when Batman is outer space fighting Darkseid or staring down Superman for some asinine reason. The best Batman stories are when he's being a detective and taking down organised crime. The occasional Bane and Deathstroke story are nice additions but it's really ridiculous to paint him as a superhuman.

Batman fighting Darksied has only happened once, and that was story where his son corpse was kidnapped. Not to mention, it was going to happen since Batman is literally apart of the Justice League. Batman using detective skills to takedown crime is literally most of his stories, whether that be when he's fighting inner demons, a copycat or a mobster. You seem to misunderstand Batman's character, he isn't just a detective... He's supposed to symbolize fear and vengeance, ofc not all his stories is going to be detective mysteries. Some people really do not know what makes a character Op. A character is and should only be considered Op, if they are much more powerful then anybody and anything else in their own story, and can beat any opponent with little to no effort in their own story. Now, if the character faces people and things that can match their powers and abilities, if not outright out class them constantly, then no matter how powerful they are by themselves, they wont be and shouldnt be considered op (because there are just too many people that can match and out class them for them to be specially powerful). This is why Superman normally wouldnt be considered Op, because the most people he faces are about the same level or higher. But now, if you made Superman fight Batman Villains instead however, then he would be considered Op, because he is in a completely other level, and there arent any Batman villains that can exactly match his abilities. So in the end, what actually decides if a character is Op or not, is depending on how much powerful or weaker his opponents are in comparison.

I didn't even get to see Man of Steel. I heard it was bad, but my sister liked it. //shrug// I'll see it eventually. There seems to be a good number of superhero movies coming out this year, so hopefully they'll meet expectations. I'm looking forward to the Batman/Superman one. Should be interesting to see them in the same universe. I'd rather see them work as a team than fight as enemies. It worked in the 90s cartoon, so it can work now.

Oh come on. Saying Supes is OP when comparing him to humans is ridiculous. The Majority of his enemies are otherworldly beings of equal or greater power like Zod or even Metallo who is made of Kryptonite for god sake. Exceptions being Lex Luthor but half the time he has super villains fighting for him. Yeah batman's foes may not be a challenge to the Supes but superman's actual enemies can be more than a match for the Man of Steel. Many times superman even has to use cleverness to win like in battles with Mr Mxyzplitk (or however the hell you spell his name) proving that superman is not only incredibly powerful physically, but he is also extremely smart.

Even tho plot wise, Batman is more op then Superman. Sure, if you compare with the two in powers and stuff, then Superman ultimately dwarfs Batman. But if you compare the conflicts and enemies they need to face, then Batman usually got something that makes him superior then his enemies, or inexplicably becomes an expert in a area that needs to be taken care off in the plot. While Superman on the other hand, needs to fight guys that are way more powerful then him, and havent gotten any new ability randomly or inexplicably after the silver age. So his struggles still feels real, and can even be more exciting then Batman's.

Batman is a hero in his own way, just like superman is. They both have their strengths and weaknesses and despite what this video is saying Superman is not OP. Joker himself carries a bunch of Kryptonite on him so even if Superman caught him, he would be weakened by said kryptonite Another problem with this video- it treats Joker like an idiot. This reminds me of a video were Superman throws Batman to the sun but Batman had injected himself with kryptonite therefore causing the sun to radiate the earth. Superman ends up basically melting. Nancy Beltran It was one example. Comics do this all the bloody time, by trying to make a favoured hero who has no superpowers (Like Iron Man), beat someone with extreme strength. The only reason so many praise batman is because of the Dark Knight trilogy. Before those films people said, "Oh Batman sucks!"... Batman, despite having Kryptonite is still useless against superman - he can run fast as hell, shoot freezing air from his mouth, shoot lazes and other things. So before all Batman die hards go all freaky on me, that is just logic - yeah Batman is the best superhero in terms of character, but not superiority against others.

Ironically enough, whenever Joker faces Superman, Joker wins. Winning battle is not always about fighting, Joker wins when he corrupts Superman, and Superman has a lot more to lose than Batman. Joker beats him in Injustice by turning Superman evil similar to Kingdom Come. Superman is no match for the Joker, Lex Luthor also loses to Joker whenever the two faces off. Lex gets kidnapped all the time by Joker. Joker is out of Superman's league since he could make Superman go to place he wouldn't otherwise.

Thats ridiculous...First of all Batman literally only ever defeats superman if superman is in an environment of batmans choosing where he is in control of just about everything and superman is usually injured or some stupid crap like that...Superman is bulletproof, super strong, heat vision, freezing breath, can fly, can run and fly at the speed of light. So while batman is frozen relative to superman moving at the speed of light or close to it, superman could kill him a million different ways...not that he would because he doesnt kill anyone. Batman kills people, maybe not directly, but I am pretty sure leaving someone on a train that you know is going to crash qualifies as killing them...So in a real fight where the environment is random and neither side has an outside advantage...just supermans powers versus batmans mind and gadgets...superman would win every single time. Period.
