Have you ever tried using a ned-rig while fishing a dropshot? The ned-rig is used in place of the traditional dropshot sinker. I do this when fishing the local irrigation canals. This gives me a different finesse rig at two different levels of the water column. It doubles my chances of catching something when the bite is slow.
@RealisticFishing3 ай бұрын
Yes, I got snagged a lot. But it makes a good high, low, rig
@timmontano87923 ай бұрын
@@RealisticFishing The irrigation canals that I fish are lined with concrete on all sides so I seldon ever get snagged unless some local slob thows a shopping car or other debris in the water. I can see how it might get snagged in other types of fishing waters. When I do use this combo rig I generally fish it as if I were fishing the ned-rig only to minimized snags, as opposed to fishing it as if it were strictly a drop shot. (if that makes any sense) Snaggy waters and ned-rigs don't work very well for me.
