Legato can be controlled via keyswitch, but not the Auto-Legato switch, since I figured that would be something people would either want or not want. It might be worth considering in an update, though. I'll look into it.

This seems to be about themost realistic MIDI VST I have heard. Now, if I could record my guitar and then apply this VST to that recorded audio and it "become" banjo, that would be awesome. Line 6 Variax has a built in boice for 12-string guitars, a chime, a sitar and a banjo; but to me as cool as it sounds, it still does not sound banjo-ish to me. Once you hear the real-thing, it's tough to compare. This VSST seems to be great for MIDI, slap on some reverb and into a mix and away you go.

I just bought this! The demo looked fun, and it sounds nice an realistic enough. One question, how do I get the dog to show up in the animation for RealiBanjo? The dog only shows up for the "Yee-Haw!" instrument. I really like the dog.

The banjo sounds are good, but I haven’t been able to make it work as a VST in Mixcraft, and so far trying to find support for answers has been frustrating. The US doesn’t even have a support email address, just an address. Mixcraft froze up and stopped working and I’m not sure there is anyone I can get help from. Not happy!

Is this for windows? Or Apple? I write and record songs with mixcraft on my windows laptop. Would be nice if I didn’t have to import the banjo sounds from my phone.

Every String Instrument VST what have Hand Position, i dont know how to use the Key Switching because my skills on Keyboard are not so good, can i play always on Open Position so?

This thing is great, I was able to use 2 different instances of RealiBanjo with different patterns in each to make a cool Americana type soundtrack piece. Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. The fiddle is actually 8Dio Misfit Fiddle, I was surprised at how cool it sounds with a little Vallhalla vintage verb added. The real inspiration came from the Realibanjo grooves though so thanks to you guys

Please pardon my ignorance, quite new to using Virtual Instruments etc. Is this effectively a VSTi? Would it be compatible for example with a MIDI keyboard and Reaper DAW or have I misunderstood how it works?

Yes, it will work as you described. (Lots of customers are on Reaper.) RealiBanjo works within Kontakt, which is a plugin that runs in Reaper (or Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc.) However, note that Kontakt is a separate purchase. @@lloydburgessmusic you would want to get the full version of Kontakt. It's $399, but usually goes on sale for half price for Black Friday. Or ... a lot of people use RealiBanjo with the free Kontakt Player in "Demo Mode." The disadvantage to that is that you have to re-start Kontakt Player every 15 minutes.

I played the ending chords manually. (RealiBanjo is much older and isn't quite as slick as Fingerpick.)

You can play chords manually, of course, but I assume you're talking about the Pattern Player, which does not have any chord or strum (or claw-hammer) patterns. We do plan to add those later, but it could be *much* later, so if chords are important for your applications, then you should wait.

Does the patterns automatically adjust when recording in odd time signatures?

They are only 4/4. Odd time signatures would be a problem.

You need Kontakt to make this work. That can be a bit pricey, but it will also work in the free Kontakt Player, although for only 15 minutes at a time in "Demo Mode."

Yes it does, although bear in mind you do need to own Kontakt. Kontakt is 64 bit, and RealiBanjo runs inside Kontakt, which runs in Logic. (Kontakt is a sampler, much like Logic's EXS24, although much more sophisticated.)

Unfortunately it does not work at all as easily as it shows here. Paid for it and very sorry I bought it. Sounds are good, but the pattern player is indecipherable.
