I understand jasmine so much when it comes to her feeling hurt about the corfu situation. I’m sure lots of women can relate to a situation where a friend confides in you regarding their partner and kind of leave you in the lurch when push comes to shove. I definitely believe jasmine when she says she’s aware that she overstepped, but Demi should’ve made it known to Ollie that she confided in jasmine rather than making it seem like jasmine is pulling shit out of thin air. I guess on jasmines behalf she feels a bit betrayed and Demi doesn’t understand why jasmine has taken a step back, hence Demi feeling ‘isolated’ at the recent event. A word of advice to those in a relationship, when confiding with your friends about your partner, it is in your best interest to provide a balanced perspective because once your friends don’t like your man/woman, you can’t come and act confused. You are the bridge between your friends and your partner, and if the two come to clash, YOU are the common denominator. If your partner is wondering why your friends aren’t vibing with them, you need to be sincere and tell them that you have been confiding in your friends and strive to do better. Unless it’s an abusive situation, be balanced in your approach and attempt to build a relationship where you can all get along. I have been this person before, and it gets tiring having to defend your partner when you’ve been slagging them off for so long.

Completely agree, It is actually a very toxic behavior to go and say one thing about your partner to your friend then turn around and act shocked that they don't like your partner. After listening to this podcast, I am extremely side-eyeing Demi for alluding that she felt sidelined at a reason event because Jasmine was friends with Sharlotte now, which shows that she has NOT grown out of her insecurities and is still not capable to acknowledging her part in the facture relationship with Jasmine. It is like she has to be the eternal victim, the black sheep.

I'm sorry I just dont agree. Relationships have up and downs. As a friend Jasmine is there to be a listener and a shoulder not an executioner. This is not Jasmine's first friendship in life. I'm sure Demi was telling Jasmine in the pods when things were great and I'm sure she told Jasmine when things were bad. As a friend, when things are bad, you remind your friend of the good times and try to upbuild and encourage them. You don't fight their battle for them. Jasmine overstepped. Jasmine's actions is not on Demi and her even letting the implication float in the air shows the kind of friend she truly is.

I love Demi but from what I deciphered from her interview on this podcast is this: she puts up walls and self isolates. She may have difficulty making and keeping friends and feels victimized and like she doesn’t fit in. It has nothing to do with her body because I know many sexy full figured women who are confident. And Demi is gorgeous. Demi is not done with her self discovery journey and I am happy she is feeling a change but referring to herself as Demi 2.0 is incorrect. She needs to keep learning about herself. She has unique issues of isolation. She even said she had not seen her mom and sister in a very long time before they met Ollie. Us as the viewers can collectively agree that Jasmine definitely overstepped and Jasmine is aware of that too. Jasmine has also expressed that she was in the sun drinking and got a prompt from producers which contributed to her actions. Furthermore, Ollie kept on confiding in Bobbie what he should’ve been saying to Demi eg, Catherine giving him the eyes etc etc. Yes, Demi may have expressed the good times but judging from the edit we have received and the interviews conducted, that does not seem like the case. There seems to be a unanimous conclusion amongst those in corfu that Demi didn’t look like she’s enjoying herself hence why everyone was reluctant about their connection. Initially, Jasmine asked Ollie if he liked Demi, and all he did was skirt round the answer which prompted Jasmine to dig even more. Though inappropriate, Jasmine is watching her ‘best friends’ fiancé go up to her fiancé and discuss things that should’ve been conveyed to Demi. Again, Jasmine was inappropriate, however Demi lacks integrity, sorry! After the incident, Ollie asked Demi ‘what have you been saying?’. In that moment, Demi had a chance to express ABCD and she didn’t. Demi also AGREED to provide context on why Jasmine acted the way she did in corfu, and she didn’t, meaning that the viewers are unaware of the context behind Ollie and Jasmines interaction. Jasmine backed Demi but Demi didn’t do the same for her. That’s not what friends do. A simple, ‘before the incident, I was upset and confided in Jasmine and expressed I wanted to go home. We had been in the sun and had a couple drinks hence why the edit is like that. I know Jasmines intentions were good and it’s all love between us all.’ Boom, viewers wouldn’t have got onto Jasmine so much. Furthermore, Ollie even said to Jasmine to fix her face and act like she’s actually enjoying the trip! You mention ups and downs in relationships. Everyone knows this. But a lot of people in relationships yap on and on about the negatives and provide bias points of view. Anyone would start to look at the other person in a negative light. If you’re in a relationship, you are the one that’s providing the information to both sides hun. Though jasmines actions aren’t on Demi, she’s a contributing factor because she has no backbone.

Even at one point Ollie was like ‘what have you been telling them?’ after that whole situation. In that moment, Demi should’ve been honest about how she really felt instead of leaving jaz to look like the bitter friend. Jaz deffo overstepped but like she said, she was in the sun, had a couple drinks and wanted to defend her friend who has changed for the worst and wanted to go home.
