I interacted with an alumni of Schulich School of Business yesterday. He said the job scenario is extremely worse now considering the extremely high interest rates. I even interacted with an alumni from Alberta School of Business. She is unemployed after graduating this year for 4-5 months. 1. Write availability according to the store you're applying for. Not according to your schedule. Get to know the availability of each store by talking with the employees and networking staffs from that store. 2. Don't write fake experiences. 3. Write down any volunteering, extracurricular activities if you don't have anh experience in work experience section. Availability matters most then work experience as they know you're fresh graduate. 4. Apply for job within the radius of your address. Don't go too far. 5. Apply by both online and walk in. 6. Resume style/format doesn't matter 7. Don't be de-motivated just because the queue is long in the jobs you're applying for.

as much as one appreciate the positivity, one cant create jobs by manifestation. also at this point u shld also know hard work is not enough in Canada, who u know and how u present urself matters most. Also most new comers do not have the luxury of having great contacts nor they can present themselves very well. The recession is very real, job crisis is real, housing crisis is very real. its about time u acknowledge that and let students analyze their own return on investment. I have been here since 2018 and I am a citizen now. even I feel its not worth moving here or even staying here for that matter. Dont hype up students so high that hard work will get them jobs cos the higher their hopes get, the fall will be way worse.

Man, love your response. Being positive is one thing and being foolish is another. You being a citizen and being honest is amazing. I wish many people read this comment. The next thing you said about manifestation is beyond amazing. People question the power of manifestation. You can only manifest something that already exists or can be created. God won't create a woman, Job or opportunity for you. You will get anything only if it exists. Prayers can help you get to what you want but it won't create anything specially for you. There are people going to canada and getting jobs even in 2023 but when 5 out off 500 get that doesn't make it idealistic. People who went to canada in the past maybe doing very well. But students coming now in 2023 may only waste their money. Taking a loan of 25 or 35 lakhs and paying double to the bank and slogging here isn't smartness. You can invest in some business or start a small business with that money in India.
