"Your son, not mine." Keith was incredibly insufferable, and it was shitty that Van had to hear that. I wonder how often he had said that to Van before the inevitable divorce, and I'm glad Van did pretty well for himself afterwards.

It's good he kept his distance from the kid who was not his son. Very oftentimes, men who are willing to marry woman with children from previous marriages are doing so for access to those children, unless they have children of their own and are actually combining the two families. These desperate, discarded woman open their kids up to sexual and physical abuse.

Gonna have to agree with Clark, usually its the parents. They place the burden of taking over the resturant on their kids with no regard for what their kids want and then act surprised when the kids aren't interested.

@@RealityTVRescues i used to live in Gloucester and would have people ask me about where to see the Wicked Tuna guys. The answer i wanted to give was "i might look like a local, but I'm actually from Cape Cod, not Cape Ann. I just washed up here on the Rum Tide." But i usually would just say. "I don't know, this is a Dunkin Donuts, tourist info is by the train station." I don't know if that format is as condusive to this style of recap, but i can imagine covering a single boat or captain, testing the waters with a smaller figure might lead to a big catch. Alternate between them and of course deadliest catch for extra freshness.

THE SON, VAN, IS THE SMARTEST PERSON THERE. HE'S THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS ANY CONCEPT ON HOW TO RUN A RESTAURANT BUSINESS. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED BECAUSE HE'S SO YOUNG. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S INNATE OR BECAUSE HE'S SPENT SO MUCH TIME WORKING THERE OR HE ACTUALLY HAS PASSION TO RUN A RESTAURANT BUSINESS OR EVERYTHING IN A COMBINATION. HE'S TRULY A HARD WORKER AND PASSIONATE ABOUT THE BUSINESS. I REALLY FEEL TERRIBLE FOR HIM. HE AND HIS SISTER HAVE AN INTEREST IN THE BUSINESS. NOT THE OWNERS.
