Consciousness in a pretentious posture is the mind. And conceptualizes itself as subject and objects dualities. Thus living its own mind posture. It is consciousness vs consciousness as far as subject and objects dualities are concerned.

Pranam Maharaj ! Now I can understand why Sri Ramakrishna did not prescribe Vedanta for all his disciples save and except for Swami Vivekananda and for a chosen few ! The concept of Vedanta is so subtle, so high a philosophy and so all pervasive in nature that only those who have completely shunned the desire for 'dame and dollar' (kamini and kanchana) and all other worldly pleasures can be able to understand and sustain it. For other mundanes like us Sri Ramakrishna's prescription is Devotion to personal God or Goddess who responds to intense prayer and saves us from adversities.

16:53 But, Swami, how does this story account for the proverbial mother's heart that knows or feels if her child is safe or in trouble even before the age of internet or even phone communications?
@samratmukherjee99374 жыл бұрын
Respected Swamiji, I went through the video where you discussed about the non changing witnessing Consciousness which is our true self. But I need to know that we , the living being have the unchanging consciousness, but how there can be the same consciousness present in the non-living entities,like Table, chair, window,a building etc. Can you please clear this doubt. Pronaam 🙏🙏
@redel374 жыл бұрын
Try with this: close your eyes imagine holding a rock in your hand feel its weight and its shape Now answer these questions about that experience in your mind: 1) what is the rock made of? 2) what is your hand made of? 3) why do they feel different?
@abpt76474 жыл бұрын
I will try. There are two type of manifestation: 1.sentient being(you, me) 2.insentient being(chair, table) Hope you are convienced that we are unchanging witness consiousness from your comment. If so, sentient being is nothing but consiousness✅️ Now come to insentient. Let take me. What happen if i am dead? Theoretically it will stop everything which is byproduct of life process.. right? But we have aldready got that consiousness is not a product of life which means it will not go by death. So dead body must have consiousness✅️ Are you with me sofar? If you are, then what is difference bw a dead body, table, chair or any insentient thing? No difference. So if dead body have consiousness, why don't chair or table have? Consiousness should limit withinus if it was a product of life. But fortunately it is not like this consiousness has nothing to do with life, it is not a byproduct of brain or.any other life system . so there is no difference bw sentient/insentient in this subject✅️ Now another question may come. If sentient & insentient both are consiousness, then why there is a difference? It depent on weather mind is there or not. Insentient being is consiousness but there will be NO consiousness experience because of absence of mind, reflecting surface. Itz like bulb without electric supply Namste🙂🙏

@abpt76474 жыл бұрын
You can't experience it directly. But you can 'realize' it through knowledge😇👍 Becausce what you can experience is always in your mind (formed as mental object).but consiousness is witness of that mind/that mental objects. What is meaning of that? It means you can't form mental object of consiouness. as mental object of consiousness can never form, you can never experience it.what you experience is always different from consiousness like " what you see is always different from your eye !!!!! " So you can never know the consiousness. but every bit of experience confirms it.otherwise, how can you aware of this world before you? How will you get a subjective experience, an innerfeeling. Think of it. Then you will get the unknowable.👍👍 Let me repeat your question in another way. You will ask : "show me my eyes if there is an eye which can see everything? " seems to be a silly question. but what you are asking is the same question. Think of it. You can never see your eyes directly but you can realize it in every bit of your vision. Similarly, you can never consious of consiousnes, but you can realize it in every bit of your experience☺️ Namaste🙏

Anything and everything that can be experienced is not you . The ego , the i , feeling good , feeling spiritual , craving for junk food , urge to speak unnecessarily ,peace of mind . Everything that can be experienced is just an experience to the witnessing consciousness . (साक्षी चैतन्य)

Swami, I am wondering, if our consciousness is evolving and elevating then why don't the Yugas also asend? Why do we go from the Golden Age and end up at the Kali Yuga?
@GoogleUser-qx5db5 жыл бұрын
Time is human concept, divided in to seconds, minutes,hours, days,nights and eventually to yugas. Golden age means people lived spiritual life. Kali age means people lived materialistic life Time neither ascend not decent. Only consciousness of the people experience according to the behavior and life style. Someone who is enlightened may describe Kali age as golden age .Asuras and Rakshsas existed in the Golden age too. They lived descending life style.

"God and you created the universe" the Swami or whatever this teacher is called says. But why should the universe have been created? Maybe it have never been created, but have always existed. In another lecture this Swami, or what ever he is called, told us, that Brahman, the ultimate force behind all thing, is without any beginning and without end. It is without limitations. Without limitations in space, time or as a object.

Sri ramakrishna clearly says universe and living beings are real and qualified by Brahman. Advaita of Sri ramakrishna is not of Sankara but of Ramanuja. It is not Jeeva and Brahman is same as per Sri ramakrishna. No veiling of reality . . If
