Everything I predicted about the WNBA when Clark was drafted has come true. The overt jealousy, racism, and pettiness has been on full display. The truly sad part is it has been allowed to proceed unchecked, as with so many facets of our society, the people in charge do not have the ability, or willingness, to take action. A true generational talent has had her abilities truncated and the league has fumbled their chance at moving beyond life support.

1. Having TWO properly functioning eyes is what GIVES the human depth perception. Depth perception is what is required for "shooting" the ball. Hence NO one-eyed 3 point shooters in the NBA. 2. A significant injury to the eye will cause swelling, raising the pressure within and distorting the focus point. Creating a condition where sighting an object (the rim in this case) is more difficult if not impossible. 3. The referees did not stop the clock for the Clark eye injury as they ALREADY knew the bench clock officials had a number of fast break "killers" programed into the "official" equipment. 4. I'm having trouble taking WNBA seriously.

Larry Bird dove for a ball and smashed his face on the floor which caused him to break his cheekbone and likely had a concussion. He went to the locker room and then came back and took over the game leading to the Celtics winning game 5 against the Pacers. He was seeing multiple rims and had to choose which one was real when he was shooting. I'm saying Birds injury was even worse than having just 1 eye. So you probably dont need 2 eyes to play.

At this time I have decided to retire from the WNBA and possibly play next year in Europe and take a year off from the WNBA. It just seems certain people do not want me here for whatever reason instead of risking my physical health I've decided to take my talents somewhere else possibly Europe possibly the big three.. Thank you Jason, there is no other way to view Carrington's assault on Clark! Carrington planned this assault, intentionally going for Clark's right shooting eye. Then, knowing she had just intentionally stabbed Clark in the eye, acted like nothing happened. Any other human being would have checked whether Clark was ok! There is no explanation for Carrington's assault, the ref's failure to act and now the WNBA, Sun's Owner and Stephanie White's failure of accountability in not responding to Carrington's attack on Clark and suspend her for the rest of the season. White knew it was intentional and that's why she switched Carrington off of Clark and put Bonner on her!
